NewAge Products is looking for a friendly, energetic, highly driven Virtual Sales Consultant who enjoys interacting with customers and is passionate about delivering exceptional product experiences. The role is responsible for conducting live virtual product demonstrations for customers from the Experience Centre while taking ownership of the sales journey. The successful candidate will understand customer needs, demonstrate NewAge Products, answer product questions, recommend solutions, prepare quotes, and drive customers toward purchase.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Live Virtual Product Demonstrations

  • Conduct scheduled and on-demand live virtual product demonstrations for customers from the Experience Centre.
  • Present NewAge Products with confidence, enthusiasm, and strong product knowledge; demonstrate key features, functionality, quality, durability, and value.
  • Tailor demonstrations to the customer's project, requirements, interests, and questions, and explain how NewAge products can solve specific needs.
  • Confidently answer product, technical, installation, and service-related questions using hands-on demonstrations where appropriate.
  • Follow established demonstration scripts, processes, and presentation standards while maintaining a natural, personalized interaction.
  • Identify relevant upselling and cross-selling opportunities and transition naturally from demonstration into sales consultation and product recommendation.
  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and engaging presence while on camera and continuously develop product knowledge.

Sales & Customer Consultation

  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build rapport and professional relationships through virtual interactions; qualify customers using clear, direct, and exploratory questions.
  • Understand the customer's project, space, requirements, preferences, budget, and timeline, and recommend the most suitable products and solutions.
  • Confidently promote and sell NewAge Products; guide customers through product selection and purchasing decisions.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and assist customers with draft orders and completed purchases.
  • Follow up consistently, overcome objections, and take ownership of opportunities from initial interaction through sale and follow-up.
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant products, accessories, and services while ensuring recommendations remain customer-focused.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, notes, opportunities, and follow-up activities in required systems.

Customer Follow-Up & Conversion

  • Follow up promptly after live demonstrations and virtual consultations.
  • Maintain ownership of open sales opportunities until converted, lost, or appropriately handed off.
  • Provide relevant product information, recommendations, quotes, and clear next steps.
  • Coordinate with Direct Sales and Design teams when additional support is required and track all follow-up activities in the required CRM and communication tools.

Product Knowledge & Customer Experience

  • Become a product knowledge expert across NewAge product categories, including features, benefits, specifications, availability, promotions, pricing, and services.
  • Deliver a personalized, informative, and memorable customer experience during every virtual interaction and act as a knowledgeable NewAge brand ambassador.
  • Stay informed about new products and changes to existing products; use product knowledge to build customer confidence and support conversion.
  • Share customer feedback, recurring questions, and identified gaps with leadership to support product and process improvements.

Team Collaboration & General Duties

  • Work closely with Direct Sales, Design, Concierge, and Experience Centre teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Follow established processes for customer assignment, demonstrations, consultations, quotes, orders, and follow-ups.
  • Manage personal workload effectively, maintain accuracy and quality, and support individual and team goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility as priorities change; identify issues affecting customer experience or sales and escalate them
  • appropriately.
  • Support other Direct Sales and Experience Centre activities as required.

What to Expect

  • A significant portion of the role will involve conducting live virtual product demonstrations from the Experience Centre.
  • You will regularly be on camera and may be recorded while conducting demonstrations for individual customers or groups.
  • You will spend considerable time on your feet while moving through Experience Centre spaces and demonstrating products.
  • Some demonstrations may require hands-on interaction with products to demonstrate capacity, functionality, strength, durability, and other physical features.
  • You will be expected to quickly transition between demonstrating, consulting, and selling based on customer needs.
  • The role requires strong comfort with virtual customer interactions, presentations, and live demonstrations. Evening and weekend availability may be required based on business and Experience Centre operating requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, retail sales, customer service, contact centre, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong consultative selling, upselling, cross-selling, and objection-handling skills.
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations, presentations, consultations, or virtual customer interactions is an asset.
  • Experience selling remotely or virtually is an asset; home improvement, garage, storage, outdoor, appliance, or interior design experience is an asset.
  • Experience with 3D design software or home improvement design is an asset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills; confident engaging customers virtually and on camera.
  • Comfortable being recorded and conducting live demonstrations for individuals and groups.
  • Strong ability to build rapport, make confident recommendations, manage multiple opportunities, and maintain follow-ups.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and adaptable with strong influencing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Hourly rate and bonus is based on experience and highly competitive for the right candidate.
    • This is an existing vacancy and the hourly range for this position is $24.00 to $31.00 per hour (CAD) at the time of the posting.
