Digital Consultants is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to provide support to the Department of Interior (DOI), Office of the Chief Information Officer, Enterprise Services Division and deliver best practice-based services that comply with DOI architecture and security standards and provide high-quality Unified Messaging Enterprise Collaboration Email Support services and solutions.  

Duties to include:

• Provide expert technical services in architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting an enterprise collaboration solution based on Microsoft SharePoint Online, Windows SharePoint Services, Dataverse, MS Power Platform, and Microsoft SQL server.
• Manage, maintain, and provide system enhancement guidance to ensure the service is scalable, reliable, and secure while supporting a large user base.
• Develop plans for the configuration and deployment of SharePoint Online (SPO) Collaboration sites, to ensure long-term strategic growth, secure collaborations with internal/external parties, and management of resources.
• Manage solutions for automating site, group, and team management, as well as develop reporting capabilities for evaluating security audit, permissions allocation, and storage usage within the SPO environment.
• Support migration of the on-premises data (file shares) to SPO sites.
• Provide operational support for the collaboration sites, communication sites, and MS Team sites, including the development of automated functionality within SPO sites, including integration of PowerBI reporting, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
• Act as the operating system Bureau SharePoint Administrator providing Tier2 support for sites and limited development of common SP sites.
• Provide expert technical services in developing custom workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to accommodate service requests from SharePoint customers.
• Develop new SharePoint solutions and support strategic and legacy solutions in multiple SharePoint and content management projects

• 8 years experience as a SharePoint Administrator
• Excellent Oral and communication skills
• Understanding of database technologies such as SQL Server, Dataverse, Oracle, SQL Queries, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with .NET Technologies such as ASP.NET, WtCF, WF, EF, and C#
• Understanding of Server Technologies such as Azure Active Directory, Dataverse, DNS, Certificates, and Hyper-V.
• Understanding of Web Server Deployment related to IIS, AppFabric, and SharePoint Online.
• Ability to work with Business Connectivity Services, Master Pages, Apps, Page Layouts, User Stories, Web Parts, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Active Directory

Clearance: Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated background investigation (BI) conducted by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The level of the BI for this work is Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)

Preferred Skills:

• Education: bachelor’s degree 
• Experience working in support of the DOI.
