Project Manager III

Job Overview Summary 

The Project Manager III is responsible for leading highly complex and large-scale security installation projects. This role requires advanced expertise in project delivery, financial management, stakeholder leadership, and technical system integration. The Project Manager III serves as a senior leader on projects, driving strategic decision-making, mentoring junior project managers, and ensuring operational excellence across the entire project lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of highly complex security installation projects.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, and resource allocation.
• Manage project financials by controlling costs, negotiating with vendors, optimizing procurement, and protecting project margins.
• Identify project risks and scope changes early, negotiating change orders and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders including executives, engineers, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Oversee complex multi-technology system integrations and support troubleshooting for network or interoperability issues.
• Communicate project status, financial performance, risks, and key metrics through executive-level updates and stakeholder reporting.
• Mentor junior project managers and team members while ensuring installation quality standards and continuous improvement across projects
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels.
• Strong financial management skills including cost control, procurement strategies, and margin protection.
• Proficiency with project management platforms such as ConnectWise and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Transparency Statement

The base salary range for this role is $87,700 - $140,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
