The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Client Reporting team. This role is responsible for delivering customized reporting and analytical solutions for some of the nation's largest Defined Contribution (DC) clients. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights through compelling storytelling.

In this role, you will build and maintain strong partnerships across business teams, supporting both strategic and ad hoc client reporting requests. You will serve as a trusted data consultant, leveraging tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and Snowflake to identify trends, uncover insights, and communicate meaningful narratives to business leaders and clients.

Additionally, you will perform critical data analysis to support remediation of incidents affecting Workplace Investing clients. You will also play an important role in supporting the migration of reporting workflows from WIDE to EDL, helping drive modernization, operational efficiency, and reporting excellence.

Expertise You Have and Skills You Bring

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business questions and large datasets into structured, actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of Defined Contribution (DC) products, services, and operational processes.
  • Advanced experience using Alteryx, SQL, and Snowflake to analyze data, identify trends, and develop meaningful insights that support business decision-making.
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives and executive-level presentations for leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience partnering with Client Service Administrator (CSAs) and Client Service Managers (CSMs) to develop and deliver customized client reporting solutions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across Workplace Investing and other business units, serving as a key connection point between analytical teams and business partners.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration to achieve business objectives.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and provide thought leadership.
  • Ability to independently identify client needs, determine the appropriate data sources, extract and analyze data, and deliver tailored reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting workflow modernization initiatives, including WIDE to EDL Alteryx/SQL migrations, is preferred. Similar migration or data platform transformation experience is a plus.

The Team

The Client Reporting Team is dedicated to supporting Client-Facing and Operations teams that deliver exceptional service to our Defined Contribution clients. Through innovative reporting solutions, analytics, and data-driven insights, we enable our front-line associates to focus on addressing the most important needs of our clients.

This role is part of the broader Defined Contribution Client Services Organization (DC CSO). The organization plays a critical role in supporting more than 18,000 retirement plan clients, providing the analytics, reporting, and operational support necessary for effective retirement plan administration. Our team creates value for plan sponsors by delivering timely, accurate, and insightful reporting solutions that support informed business decisions and enhance the overall client experience.
