Job description

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead complex initiatives within our Identity & Access Management (IAM) data ecosystem. This role is suited for a product professional who can operate comfortably at the intersection of product, technology, and data, contributing to large‑scale digital transformation efforts in a highly regulated environment.

This is not a purely business‑focused product role. The work requires meaningful collaboration with engineering, data, and security teams to deliver technically sound, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates bring digital product management experience alongside a solid technical foundation in big data and data lake platforms.

At Wells Fargo, you’ll work on platforms that support critical identity, access, and data capabilities across the enterprise. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large‑scale modernization efforts, partner closely with technical teams, and deliver products that matter at significant scale.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead or participate in a variety of complex functions within the digital environment
  • Contribute to large‑scale planning related to the execution of the digital strategy
  • Review and analyze complex work across content strategy, customer experience, analytics/research, and product management, requiring in‑depth evaluation of multiple variables
  • Independently resolve complex issues and make sound decisions
  • Lead teams to meet project deliverables while applying a strong understanding of digital initiatives, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid‑level managers to resolve issues and achieve shared goals
  • At times, lead projects, teams, or provide direction to junior staff on less complex digital initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of data platforms experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical background or hands‑on experience with data platforms, including big data environments
  • Experience supporting or leading data lake or data warehouse migrations
  • Familiarity with IAM (Identity & Access Management) concepts, systems, and identity data
  • Experience integrating and rationalizing data from multiple source systems at scale
  • Understanding of how product management intersects with engineering, security, and data architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a technical product partner — comfortable discussing data architecture, platform tradeoffs, and delivery implications (no coding required)
  • Hands-on experience leveraging Generative AI to evaluate data and solution designs, identify data‑related risks and controls, and accelerate automation to improve security posture and operational efficiency.
  • Comfort operating in complex, enterprise‑scale, regulated environments

Job Expectations:

  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to work on-site in one of the listed locations in a hybrid model. There is no option for 100% remote work.
