Job description

Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

The FP&A team at ŌURA plays an important part in delivering our company mission. We are a highly visible function responsible for delivering mission-critical analytics and insights to leadership and key stakeholders. To further our impact, we are looking for a Director to join our global FP&A team. This role will report to the Director of GTM FP&A and will partner across all GTM functions.  You’ll play an integral role overseeing revenue forecasting, driving revenue strategy, communicating with executive leadership, and shaping strategic narratives for internal and external stakeholders.

This is a US remote role with a preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone.

What You will do:

  • Partner closely with executive leadership; including the CFO, CMO, CCO and other senior stakeholders, to drive revenue strategy and decision-making
  • Lead monthly / quarterly / annual revenue reporting processes
  • Lead the communication of revenue performance for internal and external stakeholders, including Board of Directors materials and investor-facing insights
  • Architect the long-term strategic roadmap for revenue forecasting, deepening the organization's understanding of best in class sales forecasting, membership modeling, and LTV dynamics
  • Spearhead the evolution of Finance systems, partnering with technical teams to implement high-scale tools that drive efficiency and deeper business insights across the enterprise
  • Deepen understanding of membership forecasting dynamics and evolve membership revenue forecasting model
  • Partner with Revenue Accounting and Legal to ensure global compliance while influencing contract structure development among GTM leadership

We would love to have You on our team, if You have:

  • 15+ years of relevant finance experience, with extensive experience forecasting revenue from the FP&A function
  • 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring high-level professionals; a proven ability to build a leadership pipeline and foster a culture of excellence
  • Demonstrated experience driving significant innovation within a Finance organization
  • Ability to operate at all levels, with an eye on the strategic big picture, while able to be hands-on when needed
  • Mastery of complex revenue models, specifically regarding recurring revenue (membership/subscription) and hardware-software ecosystems
  • Exceptional ability to influence C-suite decision-makers and navigate high-stakes negotiations with major vendors or customers
  • Experience influencing executive level decision-makers and presenting to people at all levels of the organization with varying levels of financial literacy
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP (Netsuite), Data Visualization (Tableau), and Planning (Pigment) ecosystems, with the ability to lead large-scale system implementations
  • Desire to succeed in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment: intellectual curiosity, proactive self-starter attitude, and high integrity
