Account/Procurement Specialist II

Job Summary

The Account/Procurement Specialist II at Agile Sourcing Partners, LLC. will perform complex supply chain and procurement tasks with a focus on growing and developing customer relationships. The candidate will be responsible for promoting and ensuring customer satisfaction through value-added services as well as prompt identification and resolution of customer complaints, problems and issues. The candidate will provide superior customer service by procuring products and services in an efficient and timely manner and be able to independently resolve issues focusing on customer service as a top priority. This is a remote position with standard business hours allowing for great work life balance, pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 a year.

Job Functions

• Grow service and product offering and actively create RFQ opportunities.
• Assist as needed with RFI/RFQ/RFP submission preparation, completeness of package with all supporting documentation, and assist Business Development with follow up questions, etc. 
• Build credibility and trust with customers and suppliers through analysis and development of process improvements.
• Ensure entire procure to pay process is working and that PO creation and invoicing follow best practices.
• Ensures contractual Service Level Agreements (“SLA”) such as response time, on time delivery and reporting are met. Engages in on-going communication with Management, acting as a liaison to resolve outstanding issues, provide follow-up, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in performance and quality discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Understands the impact of operational strategies and decisions and how they affect internal and external customers and suppliers.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other applicable field or five years equivalent work experience
• Minimum three years sales/purchasing experience, preferably in a distribution environment
• Demonstratable experience working with Suppliers and/or Customers

Competencies Needed Location: Remote in Southern California

• Strong proficiency with MS Office; expert in Excel: NetSuite experience a Plus.
• Experience with purchasing and managing gas pipe fittings a PLUS
• Excellent organization and analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, think strategically, problem solve and collaborate with team members.
• Highly motivated, results focused and act with a high sense of urgency.
