DevSecOps/Platform Engineer

This is a contingent position based upon contract win.

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to join our team supporting a federal customer. This position is contingent on contract win.

This is a remote position. 

Responsibilities:

• Engineer CI/CD workflows using customer's existing Atlassian Cloud, FSA GitLab, and NGDC AWS environment.
• Implement pipeline-as-code, reusable templates, automated quality gates, environment provisioning, configuration automation, and release controls. 
• Integrate unit, integration, end-to-end, security, compliance, and infrastructure testing into delivery workflows. 
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment patterns that support portable and severable applications. 
• Maintain pipeline tool inventories, code standards, reusable libraries, SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation. 
• Support compliance with NIST SP 800-218, applicable OMB/CISA guidance, STIGs, and CIS standards. 
• Provide platform troubleshooting, performance improvement, access support, and technical guidance to development and Government stakeholders. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience. 
• Hands-on experience implementing enterprise CI/CD, cloud/platform automation, infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and release automation. 
• Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, security-tool integration, and AWS or comparable cloud environments. 
• Ability to develop and maintain technical procedures, reusable automation, and platform documentation. 
• Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust. At least an active Secret clearance is highly preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Terraform/CloudFormation or equivalent IaC 
• Containers and platform automation
