The Opportunity

As an Associate Project Management & Site Coordinator, you will serve as the primary on-site representative for GE Vernova (GEV). You will act as the critical bridge between GEV’s internal engineering/supply teams and the KAPES/KEPCO construction teams. In this role, you will safeguard GEV’s reputation by ensuring that equipment delivery, engineering quality, and site safety standards are rigorously maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Major Responsibilities

• Site Coordination & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between GEV and KAPES/KEPCO. Facilitate communication, drive issue resolution, and ensure alignment between customer expectations and GEV project delivery.
• Engineering & Quality Management: Manage technical documentation workflows, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and as-built documentation. Ensure all GEV engineering and equipment meet site quality requirements.
• Logistics & Material Management: Oversee equipment deliveries, including inspection checklist readiness, monitoring of missing or faulty materials, and preparation of progress reports.
• EHS & Site Safety: Prioritize Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance. Support GEV site supervisors with work permitting and day-to-day site logistics to ensure a safe working environment in accordance with local regulations.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and escalate site issues to GEV project teams to protect project timelines and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Meeting Participation: Contribute to regular progress meetings, providing status updates on site activities and engineering progress.

Qualifications Required:

• Education: Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience: Proven experience in construction or infrastructure project sites, specifically with contractor or customer-facing responsibilities.
• Communication: Full professional fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-party technical documentation (RFIs, NCRs, Quality documentation) and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Safety: Familiarity with local EHS regulations and permitting requirements for large-scale construction sites.

Preferred:

• Prior experience with High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems or large-scale electrical infrastructure.
• National license (Industrial Engineer Industrial Safety).
• Demonstrated experience in Quality Control processes.
