Job Summary
We are seeking an Operator 1 – Warehouse Operations to support material handling and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience and be comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products.
- Perform routine material handling and warehouse operations.
- Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and quality guidelines.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Work effectively in a metric-driven environment.
- Perform basic computer and data-entry tasks.
- Follow instructions and work under general supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required and must be verified.
- Forklift experience required.
- 0–1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse/plant environment.
- Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
- Steel-toed shoes are required.
- Must successfully complete a drug test; candidates may start pending results.
- In-person interview required.
- Overtime may be available based on company needs.
Physical Requirements
The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, and repetitive hand movements. The work environment may involve moving mechanical equipment, vibration, moderate-to-loud noise, hot and cold temperatures, and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
