Who you are:
The Seasonal Global Navigator Scholarship Evaluator will support the review and evaluation of Global Navigator Scholarship applications during the scholarship review season. This role is responsible for objectively assessing applications, financial documentation, and supporting materials using established rubrics, eligibility criteria, and standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable completing high-volume, repetitive work while maintaining accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and established deadlines.
What you’ll do:
- Review and score a high volume (approximately 1000-2000) of Global Navigator Scholarship applications using established rubrics, criteria, and standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate application components, including written responses, student information, and financial documentation, and assign scores according to established guidelines.
- Review and audit financial documentation to identify missing information, discrepancies, or items requiring additional review.
- Accurately record scores, review outcomes, and required information in designated systems and tracking tools.
- Maintain consistent, objective scoring across applications and meet established productivity, accuracy, and review deadlines.
- Participate in required training and calibration activities and apply feedback to improve scoring consistency and accuracy.
- Escalate questions, documentation concerns, and situations not addressed by established procedures to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling student, family, academic, financial, and scholarship information.
- Depending on workload, skills, and availability, assist with additional administrative or operational projects within the High School Study Abroad team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to independently manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to receive and apply feedback related to accuracy, quality, and scoring consistency.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to clearly document questions or concerns.
- Comfort working with written, numerical, and financial information.
- Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn online application systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other technology-based tools.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Previous experience in application review, assessment, grading, auditing, quality assurance, education, administration, financial aid, or related work preferred but not required.
- Experience reviewing scholarship, admissions, academic, grant, or similar applications is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Availability to work full or part-time during the designated scholarship review period.
Schedule & Hours:
This is a full-time, hourly position offering up to 40 hours per week. The standard schedule is Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility on Fridays to choose either a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM shift. All shifts are based on your local time zone. Each daily shift includes a 30-minute unpaid, uninterrupted break, resulting in a consistent 37.5 paid hours per week, with a hard cap of 40 hours. Employees will not be scheduled to work on CIEE-observed holidays.
