Additionally, we help international participants from over 140 countries come to the USA each year. Committed to excellence and solving whatever problem the world throws at them, CIEE professionals work on international teams and are dedicated to advancing our almost 80-year-old mission to make the world a more peaceful place.

Who you are:

As Marketing Specialist, High School Exchange, you will drive the two U.S. side supply engines that make inbound high school exchange possible: host family recruitment and high school partnerships. Every international student who joins a CIEE high school program needs a family who says yes and a school that will enroll them, and this role is how we generate and nurture both. You will also be the connection point for CIEE's third party agent network overseas, equipping partners in more than forty countries with the brand, assets, school profiles, and materials they need to sell the program with confidence. This is a hands on execution role for someone who likes seeing work go out the door: email sends that go on schedule, asset requests turned around quickly, event materials that arrive before the conference does, and a steady stream of real family stories collected and put to use.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and schedule email nurture sends to host family inquiries, and monitor deliverability and list hygiene.
  • Coordinate collection of host family testimonials, photos, and video release forms.
  • Draft social posts and short form content for host family channels, and maintain the posting calendar.
  • Fulfill requests from local coordinators and field staff for co-brandable flyers, event materials, and community outreach kits.
  • Maintain counselor and administrator facing collateral, one-pagers, and email templates.
  • Execute high school outreach email campaigns and maintain the school contact database.
  • Coordinate conference and association event logistics, including registration, materials shipping, booth assets, and follow up lists.
  • Fulfill agent requests for program materials, photos, school profiles, and translated or translation ready files.
  • Distribute campaign kits and seasonal updates to the agent network.
  • Maintain the shared asset library so coordinators, schools, and agents can self-serve current materials.
  • Track campaign, request, and event activity and report results to marketing and program leadership.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of marketing, communications, or program coordination experience.
  • Hands on experience with an email marketing platform and comfort building, testing, and scheduling sends.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail required, including the ability to manage many small requests without dropping any.
  • Experience maintaining contact databases or working within a CRM; Salesforce preferred.
  • Comfort creating social content and light design edits within brand templates; Canva or Adobe Express experience helpful.
  • Ability to work with remote field staff and international partners across multiple time zones.
  • Proactive and a preference for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
  • Energetic, personable, goal, and team-oriented.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and a sense of humor.
  • A passion for CIEE's mission and global exchange!

CIEE believes that professionals with varied backgrounds bring unique approaches and ideas to solving problems and advancing our mission to bring the world together. Qualified candidates from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

Due to federal regulations and CIEE policies, a background check, reference check, and education and employment verification will be conducted as conditions of employment.
