Job description

Title:  VKS Consultant
Location:  100% Remote
Type:  Contract
Duration:  Must specify if you can do Part-time, Fulltime, or open to both
Rate:   110 -130/hr

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years VMware consulting or delivery experience.
  • Hands-on experience deploying VKS (formally TKG) and related VMware components.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes operations, container networking, and storage integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2; exposure to or training in VCF 9.
  • Experience with NSX, vSphere, and SDDC Manager.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in customer environments.
  • Understand network requirements for Supervisor Clusters (Management, Workload, Ingress, Egress CIDRs).
  • Kubernetes CKA or CKAD certification.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling and container registries.
  • Familiarity with GitOps and automation frameworks (Helm, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc.).

Certifications

  • Preferred - VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator (2V0-17.25)
  • Optional - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect (2V0-13.25)
