Application Developer - Full Stack Java Developer

Location: Fully Remote | Must be available to work Pacific Time (PST) hours

Impresiv Health is seeking experienced Application Developers to support Department of Tax and Collections (DTAC) projects.

This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React. Responsibilities include developing RESTful APIs and microservices, supporting application deployments, working with Oracle and PL/SQL, building containerized applications, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable system integrations.
• Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat and cloud environments.
• Build containerized applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and database queries in Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps.
• Write automation and scripting solutions for building, deploying, and operational tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.

You Will Be Successful If:

• You have experience developing full stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React.
• You have experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• You are able to work with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• You are familiar with Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You can collaborate effectively with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• You have experience with scripting and automation.
• You are comfortable participating in troubleshooting, performance tuning, code reviews, and production support.

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Backend experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Frontend experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Web Services.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Shell scripting, Python, or automation scripting.
• Experience with Claude or similar AI tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture.
