Field & Channel Marketing Manager

Level: P4 | The Strategic Collaborator
Location: CAD or US | Eastern or Pacific Timezone
Reports To: Erica Tran | Senior Director, Field and Channel Marketing
Department: Field Marketing
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Vacancy Status: This is an active, approved role and we are currently hiring for this position.

About Solink

At Solink, our mission is to safeguard what matters most. We provide businesses with the tools to know sooner and act faster by transforming video security into real-time operational insights.

Our cloud-based platform integrates seamlessly with your existing cameras and systems, turning them into intelligent sensors that detect and interpret key moments. This empowers teams to make data-driven decisions, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency.

Trusted by over 30,000 locations across 32+ countries - including brands like McDonald’s and JYSK - Solink delivers clarity when it counts. Our solutions help businesses reduce shrink, optimize performance, and respond proactively to potential threats.

We're growing rapidly, earning industry recognition, and scaling with purpose. We’ve been recognized by Deloitte’s Fast 50™ and Fast 500™, Business Intelligence Group, and as one of Ottawa’s Best Places to Work. And we’re just getting started!

About The Role

Solink is looking for a Field & Channel Marketing Manager to own the event calendar and field marketing strategy across a specific region or channel. Rather than running one event at a time, you’ll design the playbook for how events, dinners, and tradeshows are planned, executed, and measured, and you’ll build focused go-to-market programs around Solink’s strategic verticals and accounts, including Restaurant, Financial Institution, and Strategic segments, to grow enterprise pipeline and deepen account penetration.

You’ll evaluate ROI across the full portfolio of events and reallocate budget and effort toward what performs, manage a portfolio of vendor and partner relationships (including performance discussions), and act as the escalation point when vendor, partner, or stakeholder issues can’t be resolved at the individual-contributor level. You’ll also improve the systems, tools, and templates the broader field marketing team plans against.

This role suits a senior marketer who thinks in terms of portfolios and systems rather than single events, coaches others on collaborating effectively with sales and partner teams, and instills urgency and accountability across multiple concurrent events and stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Vertical & Account Programs

  • Build and execute focused GTM event programs around Solink’s strategic verticals and accounts to grow enterprise pipeline and penetration.

  • Partner with Sales and Account Executives to align the event portfolio and invite strategy to target accounts and verticals.

  • Evaluate which event formats and investments perform best within each vertical, and reallocate budget accordingly.

Event Calendar, Strategy & Portfolio ROI

  • Own the end-to-end event calendar and strategy across a region or channel, not just individual events.

  • Design the playbook for how events, dinners, and tradeshows are planned, executed, and measured.

  • Ensure pre-show, on-site, and follow-up processes are consistent across multiple simultaneous events.

  • Evaluate ROI across the portfolio of events and reallocate budget/effort toward what performs.

  • Improve systems and tools (tech stack, automation, templates) to increase team efficiency.

Vendor & Partner Portfolio Management

  • Manage a portfolio of vendor and partner relationships across events and channels, including performance discussions.

  • Align AEs, CAMs, and partners across multiple events on shared priorities and expectations.

  • Build standardized stakeholder processes (partner briefing templates, AE requirement docs) to reduce friction.

A Little Bit About You

  • 6–8 years of B2B field marketing or event marketing experience, including experience owning a portfolio of events or a regional/channel program, ideally in SaaS or technology.

  • A track record of evaluating ROI across multiple events and reallocating budget or effort toward what performs.

  • Experience managing a portfolio of vendor and partner relationships, including performance conversations and escalations.

  • Experience building GTM programs targeted at specific verticals or strategic accounts, ideally including Restaurant or Financial Institution segments.

  • Demonstrated ability to build systems, playbooks, or templates that other team members plan against.

  • Experience coaching or mentoring more junior marketers on stakeholder management and event execution.

  • Comfort acting as the escalation point for vendor, partner, or internal stakeholder issues.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience marketing into Restaurant, Financial Institution, or other physical-security-relevant verticals.

  • Familiarity with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash) and marketing automation tooling (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Experience supporting enterprise or strategic account segments alongside a direct sales team.

  • Exposure to account-based marketing (ABM) concepts and vertical-specific campaign design.

  • Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.

Role Expectations

This is a P4 level role. At Solink, individuals at this level are a key contributors within their team, they act as a mentor to colleagues, not only within their team, but also cross functionally and can be relied on for strategic collaboration on team and org wide initiatives.

  • Lead projects as the lead while providing direction and able to keep key stakeholders informed

  • Coach and mentor other employees through complex problems, goals, tasks and initiatives, giving constructive feedback.

  • Consistently deliver on their priorities and commitments

  • Drive process improvements and influence adoption.

  • Builds frameworks, templates, or standards that scale team effectiveness

What Success Looks Like:

  • Enterprise pipeline and account penetration that visibly grow within Restaurant, Financial Institution, and Strategic segments because of the GTM programs you built

  • A portfolio ROI framework the team trusts, with budget and effort clearly shifted toward the event formats and vendors that actually perform

  • A playbook, templates, and processes that the broader field marketing team plans against by default, not just when you're in the room

  • Vendor, partner, and stakeholder issues that get resolved at your level, with AEs, CAMs, and partners aligned before problems reach leadership

Security Requirements

  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

  • Be a Canadian or American Citizen, or eligible to work in Canada or the United States.
