A lot of companies say they’re “mission-driven.” Our unique corporate structure guarantees that every decision we make upholds our mission: to ensure the internet remains open and accessible. Beholden to neither shareholders nor investors, Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the not-for-profit Mozilla Foundation. Along with our communities of 20,000+ contributors and collaborators, Mozilla Corporation’s staff designs, builds, and distributes software that allows people to enjoy the internet on their own terms. Our flagship product — the Firefox browser — has expanded into a family of products that protects users and alerts them of risks, safeguards passwords and provides a secure VPN (with more to come). By maintaining a safe, open internet we're helping humanity, while also helping the individual humans employed here to reach their personal and professional goals. With a relatively small team serving hundreds of millions of people, a culture of exploration, and a commitment to mentorship, opportunities abound to learn and grow at Mozilla.

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we're shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. • Advanced Passive Sourcing: Architect and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies to identify elite, "hard-to-find" talent within niche technical communities (e.g., Rust, browser engine architecture, privacy-preserving AI).
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary talent advisor to VPs and Directors, providing data-driven insights to influence organizational design and multi-quarter hiring plans.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead continuous improvement of the recruiting workflow, utilizing Career Level Guides (CLGs) to ensure consistency in candidate evaluation, leveling, and calibration across all technical business units.
  • Talent Pipeline Planning: Drive long-term succession planning by identifying and engaging talent today for the critical roles of tomorrow, ensuring a healthy and diverse pipeline.
What you'll bring:
  • Full-Cycle Mastery: Extensive experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for technical roles in a high-growth or open-source environment.
  • Expert Sourcing & Closing Skills: Demonstrated ability to build proprietary talent maps and close high-level candidates through mission-alignment and sophisticated negotiation tactics.
