Senior Network Engineer

Rate: 27-29 USD per hour

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to work 100% remotely with our global client in the energy and utilities sector.

Overview

Our client is modernizing communications across multiple locations and requires a Senior Network Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of WAN connectivity between remote sites. This role will collaborate closely with the network team to deliver secure, reliable, and well-documented network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with Network Team on the set up and configuration of WAN to interconnect remote sites.

The following technologies are involved: NetScaler Load Balancer (must)

• SDWAN

• Network security (Firewalls, proxies)

• Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP

• Switching

• Most of the field sites consists of Cisco networking devices.

• Documentation of network systems, Visio Drawings, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.

• Document activities in progress via weekly status reports, incident reports, logs, etc.

Requirements

• Network security (Firewalls, proxies)

• Routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP

• Switching

• Experience in network engineering, and troubleshooting

• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS / NXOS and related technologies

• Advanced knowledge of Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Routers and Switches

• Good communication skills both spoken and written

• Strong Interpersonal Skills.

• Familiar with Ticketing tools.

• Excellent team player.

Preferred Certifications

• CNNA. CCNP is Preferred
