Raytheon is actively searching for a Mission Support Section Manager to lead a team of intermediate to experienced Field Service professionals. This manager reviews escalated issues, establishes and maintains a good relationship with key customers, and responds to escalated complaints from high-profile customers. Responsible for maintaining training and audit/assessment programs and training field service staff. This manager will serve as a technical team leader of systems administration subject matter experts to the customer for all support requirements in a fast paced distributed ISR environment. Team responsibilities include image quality analysis, data flows management, troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions while monitoring the health and status of equipment. Mission Support serves as the first responder to all issues related to the Raytheon product line by executing various system administration functions.

What You Will Do 

• Coordinates, prioritizes and resolves issues encountered by a more experienced team/multiple teams.

• Reviews escalated issues that will impact the business and provide recommendations for solutions.

• Manages more experienced team according to established programs and objectives.

• Contacts customer, collects feedback, and establishes and maintains good relationship with key customers.

• Responds to complaints of high-profile customers, carries out the customer satisfaction investigation, and establishes the appropriate improvement plan.

• Coaches team members to ensure operational achievements are met.

• Maintains training and audit/assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws, regulations.

• Experience with solving technical problems  with  product and systems expertise, capable of performing rapid, accurate assessments and delivering actionable, technically sound solutions to customers.

• Experience in system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting system data flows within a complex distributed environment.

• Experience in ISR sensor planning and/or collection management experience.

• Experience with (Air Force Distributed Common Ground System)  AF DCGS and/or national-level intelligence agency experience.

• Either possess or can quickly obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months.

• Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance. 

Qualifications We Prefer

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

• Integrity, reliability, and dedication in a team environment are a must.

• Experience creating/maintaining user accounts, monitoring system utilization, installing applications and operating system upgrades, and installing/troubleshooting software is desired.

• Scripting experience in UNIX/Linux environments, Windows server support experience and knowledge in Virtual Machine (VM) based architectures is desired.

• Imagery analysis skills in an intelligence environment, knowledge of exploitation tools and techniques, and creation of products from system image data are beneficial.

• Raytheon MST Program Office is solely responsible for determining field assignments and relocations. MST personnel are subject to relocation at any time.

• Family members are not allowed to accompany MST personnel to certain countries or classified locations. Any authorized family accompaniment to any location is the sole responsibility of the MST employee.

• MST personnel must be flexible enough to perform multi-shift/overtime requirements with little or no notice.

• MST personnel must comply with the laws and rules required in the jurisdiction where deployed.

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories). 

This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
