We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our development team and help us shape the future of FinTech. 

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust SaaS applications for the FinTech industry using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Build and orchestrate long-running business processes (invoicing, payments, and reminders) as durable workflows using Temporal.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases across a microservices estate, ensuring performance, isolation, and reliability.
• Integrate external APIs and services, as well as architect and implement custom APIs.
• Contribute to the evolution of a live production platform, balancing new features with reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.
• Use agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor to plan, write, refactor, and review code — producing clean, maintainable, and efficient output while owning the result: you read the diffs, verify correctness, and stand behind what ships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, and experience optimizing server-side applications for high performance and scalability.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture and workflow orchestration (Temporal especially).
• Experience integrating identity and access management (Keycloak / OAuth 2.0 / OIDC) and API gateways (Apache APISIX).
• Comfortable working AI-assisted, with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) as a routine part of how you build, test, and review.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial systems, payment processing, double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliation, or bank-file formats is a plus.
• Interest in applying LLMs in production (OpenAI, LangChain, AWS Bedrock) is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
