Finance Manager

We’re excited to be growing our team in Colombia and are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in supporting the continued growth and success of our Colombia operations. 

As the Senior Accountant for our Colombia country office, you will lead the Financial, Systems, and Management Accounting functions for Intrepid Colombia. You will work closely with the General Manager, Regional Leads, Global Finance, and regulatory authorities in Colombia to ensure the finance function meets business and compliance requirements. You will also lead the Finance team and contribute to the overall direction of Intrepid Colombia as a member of the country’s Management Team. 

This role is a full-time permanent position operating on a hybrid basis out of our office in Bogota, Colombia where you'll have the opportunity to work from home two days per week. 

A passion for travel is a must-have! With it you’ll bring: 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. 

• University degree in Accounting (it´s a must), Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

• 5–10 years of experience in Colombian National and Local taxes, financial accounting and or audit. 

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent, with strong knowledge of Colombian national and local taxes. 

• Practical finance and accounting experience within a foreign-invested business, including complex accounting systems and software.
