Field Installer located in Lakeland, FL

Armoured One, LLC is recruiting a Field Installer located in Lakeland, Florida (with Travel). Relocation package is not available.

This is a full time position Monday - Friday (8 hours/day) or Monday - Thursday (10 hours/day, work hours will vary).

Wage: $18/hr- $20/hr, depending on experience, subject to prevailing wage. 

In this position and under the direction of the Field Services Project Manager or designee, the Field Installer will be responsible for preparation, installation, and anchoring of security film, as well as other duties necessary for field services.  In addition, this position may perform site survey support for estimating as needed.  Reliable transportation is necessary.

Duties:

• Travel to job sites within the state of Florida and install security film on existing windows. (reliable transportation needed)
• Cut and prepare security film for jobs as needed.
• Maintain project reports as needed.
• Support supervisor with coordination and completion of projects.
• Assist with the training of new employees and licensed installers.
• Perform Site Survey per process to measure existing doors and windows for film sizes.

Education and Experience:

• Film installation experience preferred.
• Driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Basic construction experience preferred.

Tom Czyz, a now retired Homicide Detective and SWAT team operator founded Armoured One in response to the Sandy Hook massacre. He brought together a team of experts in active shooter attacks from SWAT Team operators, elite military personnel, federal agents, and educators with the intention of protecting schools and preventing the loss of lives during mass shooting attacks.  Armoured One then collaborated with teachers and school administrators to create a real solution for school attacks.
