Job description

Here is a summary of the role:

This role supports the company’s client retention and growth by keeping our accounts running smoothly day to day. You’ll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of smaller accounts, and will support higher leadership in Client Services for larger accounts. Working with our creative, strategy, analytics, digital, and media teams, you’ll turn client needs into clear direction, keep projects on track, and make sure our work meets (and preferably exceeds) client expectations. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Due to client and team location, we are looking for someone local to the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. Applicants in the DFW area will be prioritized. 

What you will do:

  • Own the client relationship and represent the agency with polished, positive, and professional communication; building trust through every interaction from routine updates to difficult conversations
  • Receive critical feedback with composure, clarify what’s behind it, and translate it into a clear action plan for the team right away. .
  • Serve as the day-to-day client contact for several accounts, and support senior leadership on a larger account
  • Gather client requirements and translate them into clear briefs for internal teams
  • Build project timelines, track deliverables, and follow up to keep work on schedule
  • Learn each client’s business and marketing goals, and keep them in mind as work moves through the agency
  • Schedule client meetings, and prepare agendas, recaps, and next steps.
  • Send clients regular status updates, progress reports and requests for information
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality before they go to the client
  • Spot potential growth opportunities and bring them to Client Services leadership
  • Flag resources or timeline issues early and escalate when needed
  • Keep account and project management tools current
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, internal teams, partners, and vendors
  • Look for ways to work more efficiently, including AI tools to streamline process

What you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or client services, ideally at an agency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple accounts at once
  • Polished, confident written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations and critical feedback diplomatically.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, including creative, eCRM, analytics, and technology
  • A relationship-oriented, positive, and diplomatic approach
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, including asking why things are done a certain way
  • A pragmatic, positive attitude towards change
  • Comfort asking for help and knowing when to escalate
  • Close attention to detail, while still seeing the big picture
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PPT, Intermediate Excel and Teams)
