Job Summary:

Doubtless Pet Insurance Partnerships – North America is seeking an Insurance Agent- Sales who will report to the Sales Supervisor. Agents are responsible for educating prospective customers on our pet insurance products, identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate coverage options, and helping pet parents make informed decisions to protect their pets through insurance solutions.


Job Location: Remote – United States


Main Responsibilities:

  • Actively contributes to solution innovation and sales efforts, utilizing consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs, communicate value, and convert prospective clients into policyholders. 
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals by leveraging inbound & outbound sales opportunities, utilizing effective closing techniques, maximizing conversion rates, and achieving established productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives. 
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs, educate them on available pet insurance options, provide clear and accurate information, and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. 
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development activities to enhance sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and understanding of industry trends and best practices. 
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable federal and state insurance regulations, licensing requirements, company policies, and compliance standards. Ensure all required disclosures are communicated accurately and consistently throughout the sales process. 
  • Lead Management & Follow-Up: Consistently manage and follow up on inbound leads and sales opportunities in a timely manner to maximize conversion rates and achieve individual and team performance goals. 
  • Consultative Selling: Utilize effective discovery techniques to uncover customer needs, present tailored insurance solutions, address objections professionally, and guide prospects through the decision-making process. 
  • Documentation & Accuracy: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, sales activities, and policy information within company systems while adhering to recordkeeping requirements, data privacy standards, and quality expectations. 
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing best practices, supporting colleagues, participating in team initiatives, and contributing to overall department success. 
  • Performance & Accountability: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, self-motivation, accountability, and a results-driven mindset. Consistently maintain high levels of productivity, professionalism, attendance, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer service by building trust, establishing rapport, and acting in the best interest of the customer while maintaining ethical sales practices and regulatory compliance. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback, embrace coaching opportunities, and apply learned skills and best practices to improve sales performance, customer outcomes, and overall effectiveness. 
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team sales objectives and contribute to a high-performing sales organization. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of sales, call center, or relevant experience preferred 
  • Must have and maintain a Property & Casualty License or be willing to obtain one within 45 days of hire—with support and guidance provided by our company to help you secure the license.
