Job description

The Role
We are looking for licensed insurance agents to join our Member Experience team during our busy Open Enrollment season. In this role, you will provide knowledgeable, high-quality support to consumers as they navigate health insurance enrollment.
The majority of your day will be spent assisting consumers by phone and email. You will use your insurance expertise to answer questions, support enrollments, and resolve issues throughout the enrollment experience using Stride’s enrollment systems and tools.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume seasonal role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to quickly learn Stride's systems and processes.
Position Details
● Seasonal W-2 employment beginning October 12, 2026
● As Open Enrollment activity decreases, seasonal assignments will conclude in phases based on anticipated business and staffing needs. Individual assignments may end on December 30, 2026; January 15, 2027; or February 5, 2027.
● $33.00 per hour
● 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm PST
● Non-exempt and overtime eligible; additional hours may be available or required during peak periods based on business needs
Responsibilities
● Provide knowledgeable, efficient, and professional support to consumers by phone and email
● Assist consumers with health, dental, and vision insurance enrollments
● Answer questions about eligibility, coverage, benefits, and enrollment
● Help consumers navigate the health insurance enrollment process
● Use Stride’s enrollment systems and tools to support consumers through enrollment
● Identify and resolve enrollment and coverage issues
● Follow up with consumers when additional information or action is required
● Document consumer interactions and resolutions accurately in Zendesk
● Follow established processes and compliance requirements
● Provide phone and email coverage according to team schedules and business needs
Experience & Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
● Hold an active insurance license
● Are fluent in Spanish and English
● Have experience working with Healthcare.gov and/or state-based marketplaces, such as Covered California
● Have experience assisting consumers with health insurance enrollment or coverage
● Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats
● Demonstrate strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed under pressure
● Are comfortable working in a high-volume customer support environment
● Can learn and navigate multiple technology systems and workflows
We’ll Prioritize Candidates With
● Experience using Zendesk or a similar CRM/support platform
● 5+ active state insurance licenses
● Experience with ACA individual-market enrollment
● Experience with dental and vision insurance
● Experience working with Healthcare.gov or state-based marketplace enrollment workflows
● Fluency in both Spanish and English
