Job description

Position Title: Salesforce Technical Project Manager
Location: Remote (within the U.S.)

Other Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required) 

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team supporting our VA client. In this role you will lead initiatives within the VA focused on modernizing Veterans’ access to care through Salesforce-based CRM solutions. This role requires experience in Salesforce project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and healthcare technology, with a strong understanding of federal compliance and data governance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Salesforce and Veteran care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, execute, and oversee technical projects, ensuring milestones are met, and deliverables align with strategic goals.
  • Work closely with engineering, IT, and development teams to understand technical requirements and resolve challenges.
  • Monitor project budgets and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, clients, and senior leadership, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to safegaurd project success.
  • Apply best practices and agile methodologies to enhance project workflows and efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability among project team members, ensuring a high-performance culture.
     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years in technical project management, preferably 3+ years on Salesforce implementations
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Technical knowledge in software development, systems engineering, or infrastructure management
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and Salesforce tools (e.g., Flow, Reports, Dashboards)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Project Management certification (eg, PMP) preferred 
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) preferred
  • Background working with the Department of Veterans Affairs and/or other government agencies preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have a reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting. 

PAY RANGE

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on geographic work location, relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, security clearance, and contract requirements. Geographic salary ranges are determined in accordance with the company's compensation practices and represent a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
