Job description

Job Summary:

Facilities Project Manager III is responsible to manage construction, renovation and reconfiguration projects including budget development and tracking, oversight of work, occupancy planning and facility operations coordination. This position works in office (any CS office location) 3x per week, other days are remote.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage project administration to include but not limited to collecting proposals, entering purchase requisitions, invoices and facility work orders through internal systems
  • Develop comprehensive work plans for project schedules, incorporate IT requirements into the project planning process as needed
  • Assist and execute Project Meetings for construction and furniture reconfiguration projects
  • Oversee and provide direction to contracted vendors or contractors for project delivery including monitoring schedule and quality
  • Plan and lead individual moves coordinating with internal support resources to ensure a smooth delivery. Provide support of Re-stacking initiatives for multiple locations Maintain interior signage and furniture inventory programs
  •  Maintain current design and construction standards, practices and procedures  to ensure compliance with building codes, federal and state standards
  • Ensure facility/workplace polices. are maintained throughout the buildings and communicated to internal customer in an effective manner
  • Maintain tracking system for seating assignments at all building locations. Provide updates within internal systems of new hires, role changes, terminations and moves ensuring accuracy
  • Plan and coordinate on-going furniture repairs and reconfigurations with vendors and internal support resources
  • Maintain electronic records and budget tracking in compliance with established standards and records retentions policies.  Maintain project finish and furniture binders
  • Collaborate with management to establish and maintain a space facilitator network to micro-manage space allocations and seating assignments and communicate departmental needs Conduct ergonomic assessments as needed. Collaborate with HR as required and maintain records 
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial, Environmental, Architecture, Design or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
  •  Minimum eight to ten (8 to 10) years of experience in the Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management industry is required
  • Prior responsibility for a multi-building portfolio greater than 500,000 square feet

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage external resources such as architects, engineers, and designers to support multiple facility projects simultaneously at varying stages of development
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with Landlords or Building Management companies in leased space for project management and services
  • Knowledge of Archibus CAFM & CAD systems
  • Interpreting construction and furniture drawings
  • Working knowledge of a Service Event Management System (ticket delivery system) for scheduling and tracking work
  • Excellent written and verbal communications Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism
  • Change leader management style and can easily work cross functionally with multiple departments
  • Strong financial expertise and knowledge of construction methods and the contract furniture field
  • Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective listening and critical thinking skills
  •  Strong negotiation skills

Licensure and Certification:

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • 20% travel

Compensation Range:

$72,200.00 - $115,500.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
