Overview:

Stipulation Specialist Description & Duties:

Responsible for processing and reviewing stipulation documents. Builds relationships with dealers though regular communication via phone and email. Position is responsible for achieving volume and quality goals. Assists with answering inbound dealer and customer calls, and entering credit applications as needed. Works across departments by answering customer service and payment calls, verifying loan terms, and assisting with other functions as needed.

Pay Range: USD $18.50 - USD $20.00 /Hr. Responsibilities:

  • Process stipulation documents and review against company requirements.
  • Develop understanding of company stipulation policy to identify documents and situations requiring supervisor review.
  • Communicate with dealers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information.
  • Work with management to develop underwriting skills and achieve higher levels of decision authority.
  • Verify loan terms with new customers, answer customer service calls, and process customer payments over the phone.
  • Maintain existing business and develop new business by building strong dealer relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly. Must be able to take direction and work well with others. Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines. Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately. Must be able to react to change productively.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business, finance, communication, marketing or related field OR 1 years’ experience in underwriting or lending.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
