Salary Range:

$115,400.00 - $192,300.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training. 

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic synergy technical manager to AVEVA team and play a key role in driving enablement, and adoption of AVEVA solutions with Schneider Electric. This position will work closely with Schneider Electric sales teams to provide deep technical expertise and solutions guidance to our shared customers and partners to adopt and implement AVEVA into Schneider Electric solutions.

This role requires deep technical expertise in AVEVA solutions, and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. This role is responsible to support Schneider Electric country sales teams win more business with AVEVA and support customers through their entire project development cycle:

Provide technical pre-sales expertise and support to Schnieder Electric team on software architectures to help accelerate sales growth and increase opportunities conversation rate using AVEVA solutions Act as the technical subject matter expert at the customer to define and implement the best software systems architecture using AVEVA solutions Work with the our shared customers to identify technical requirements/ constraints to adopt AVEVA solutions and offer the customer solutions that will increase the consumption of AVEVA solutions Create solutions architecture, combined unique value propositions, and demos and support the sales team to convince the customer to use AVEVA solutions.

The Ideal candidate

Self-motivated and driven with a “must win” mindset and a desire to be successful. Being able to work independently but also as part of a team in a matrix organization is essential to this role. Be able to influence and motivate individuals who do not report to you, to achieve shared KPI’s through a collaborative and synergistic approach. Must be an early adopter and bring a sense of technical intensity to drive sales growth in this role. While this is a technical role, the candidate must have commercial acumen and understand the significant role that technical teams play in the sales cycle to convince and win new business and customers.

Industrial Automation and energy management technical expert with strong ability to build optimized solution architectures fitting the needs of customers (including channel partners such as Sis or POEMs) based on a broad technical knowledge. In depth understanding of the software market Solid commercial acumen to support Schnieder Electric sales team convince and convert the customer to AVEVA solutions

To be the technical backbone of Schnieder Electric sales team to understand the customers technical needs.

To propose an optimum architecture according to customers’ needs providing a clear explanation relative to the solutions strengths and weaknesses, highlighting differentiating elements in a simple and convincing way.

Must have deep segment understanding which include but are not limited to: WWW, MMM, CPG (Food processing and Life Science), Energy and Chemicals (Including new green energy sub-segments), Infrastructure including logistics, Automotive (nice to have), C&SP would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement & Pre-sales support

    • Be the first line support to Schneider Electric sales team and its eco-system to win customers and projects using AVEVA solutions

    • Support customers on complex software challenges that involve AVEVA solutions.

    • Conduct design audits and architecture assessments for mission-critical software projects.

    • Support Schneider Electric sales team with demos and presentations at the customer

  • Customer Engagement & Strategic Solutioning

    • Work closely with key industrial customers and partners to understand their software challenges and tailor AVEVA solutions accordingly.

    • Conduct technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, and customer roadmap discussions to drive adoption of AVEVA solutions

    • Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, pilot deployments, and industrial testbeds, ensuring successful implementation of AVEVA solutions.

    • Engage with executive stakeholders to define automation strategies, digital transformation roadmaps, and enterprise-wide implementation plans.

    • Support business development teams by providing technical insights, solution demonstrations, and competitive differentiators.

  • Technical Ownership & Best Practices Development

    • Design and build solution architecture to support customers using AVEVA solutions

    • Support the creation of technical documentation, playbooks, and design guides using AVEVA solutions.

    • Conduct technical validation reviews for large-scale software projects, ensuring alignment between commercial and technical readiness.

    • Work with Schneider Electric COC (Centre of Competence) and LOB (Lines of Business) to optimize system architecture and scalability of AVEVA solutions

  • Training, Enablement & Technical Advocacy

    • Support the training department with onsite train needed.

    • Create white papers, best practice guides, case studies, and knowledge-sharing to promote AVEVA solutions.

    • Represent AVEVA in industry forums, conferences, and software groups.

    • Develop technical marketing content, including webinars, blog posts, and product demonstrations, to position AVEVA as an industry leader

    • Engage with academic institutions and research organizations to drive awareness and adoption of AVEVA solutions in industrial and educational environments.

Deliverables of the Role

  • Demo’s on AVEVA

    • Build a maintain demo area in your country/region

    • Personalize UVP/storytelling to customer use-case i.e., create technical demos to answer customer’s pain points and address their sub-segment requirements.

    • Handle Q&A and provide examples and references relative to applications.

  • System Architectures

    • Draw, implement and test AVEVA solutions combined with Schneider Electric architecture relative to customers’ applications.

    • Present outcomes to customers in order to get their adoption by reducing risks.

  • Project Execution and Support

    • Support the customer and or System Integrator on the successful execution of AVEVA solutions

    • Ensure customer satisfaction on projects – this includes commercial relationship on top of technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of the project.

  • Feedback and documentation

    • Document all processes and changes made on site and during customer engagement.

    • Create Use cases and success stories from every project.

    • Share knowledge and best practices.

Education, Experience and Skill: Some level of flexibility is allowed based on level of experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in either of the following:  Software, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science IT programing, Code development

  •  Embedded Software Engineer background, ideally with strong IT focus

    • Be well versed on IIOT and the convergence between IT and OT.

    • Knowledge in AVEVA solutions, Ops control, PI system, engineering and MES + CONNECT

  • Deep expertise in SCADA/DCS, and industrial software

  • Extensive experience in designing and deploying large-scale software solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for engineers, customers, and executives.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging both technical and business audiences.

  • 4-6 years of experience in industrial software solutions

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
