Job Title: PKI Engineer – Venafi Expertise

Salary Range:- $140,000 - $150,000 a year
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Certificate Lifecycle / PKI Engineer with strong Venafi expertise to support enterprise-scale Public Key Infrastructure, certificate lifecycle management, identity security, and authentication solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP), Venafi SaaS, PKI, X.509 certificates, certificate automation, cryptography, Azure identity services, and security integrations.
The candidate will work closely with security, identity, cloud, application, and infrastructure teams to implement secure certificate lifecycle processes, modern authentication patterns, and Zero Trust security solutions.
Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills
PKI & Cryptography
Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) architecture and certificate lifecycle management.
Hands-on experience with:
X.509 Certificates
TLS/SSL
Certificate Authorities (CA)
Root and Intermediate CA Management
Certificate Revocation Lists (CRL)
OCSP
Key Management
Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
Code Signing Certificates
Experience implementing certificate automation and lifecycle management processes.
Venafi Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP).
Experience with Venafi SaaS.
Certificate discovery and inventory management.
Certificate automation and lifecycle workflows.
Experience with Venafi APIs.
Experience with Adaptable Apps and Native Drivers.
Reporting, governance, and compliance within Venafi.
Enterprise certificate lifecycle workflow implementation.
