Job description

Overview:

The Director, Home Appliances – Pro Channel will be responsible for developing and executing the national strategy to grow Hisense's presence within the professional channel, including residential builders, multifamily developers, property management companies, kitchen and bath dealers, appliance distributors, buying groups, and other trade partners. This leader will drive profitable revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and developing scalable sales programs that position Hisense as a preferred appliance brand within the new construction and renovation markets.

The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Go to Market, Product Planning, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Sales to ensure successful execution of channel strategies while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy for the Home Appliances Pro Channel, including builders, multifamily housing, property management, kitchen and bath dealers, appliance distributors, and other trade partners.
  • Identify, recruit, negotiate, and develop strategic relationships with key regional and national builders, developers, distributors, buying groups, and Pro channel partners.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth by expanding distribution, increasing specification opportunities, and growing market share across all major appliance categories.
  • Develop annual business plans with key accounts, including sales objectives, promotional strategies, product placement, inventory planning, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop channel-specific merchandising, promotional programs, digital assets, and sales tools that support customer acquisition and sell-through.
  • Partner with Product Management to communicate market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and product opportunities that influence future product development.
  • Lead negotiations for national and regional agreements while ensuring profitable pricing, program execution, and long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement training programs for builders, dealers, distributors, designers, and trade partners focused on product features, brand positioning, installation best practices, and competitive differentiation.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure exceptional order fulfillment, product availability, installation support, and post-sale customer satisfaction.
  • Establish sales forecasts, monitor business performance, and develop action plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly while building trusted, long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Represent Hisense at industry trade shows, builder events, customer meetings, and professional organizations to strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across internal functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within the home appliance, building products, kitchen and bath, construction, or related industries.
  • Proven experience selling into the Pro Channel, including residential builders, multifamily developers, appliance distributors, kitchen and bath dealers, property management companies, buying groups, or related trade channels.
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic business plans and delivering consistent revenue and profit growth.
  • Strong understanding of the residential construction, remodeling, and appliance distribution industries.
  • Experience negotiating national and regional customer agreements with executive-level decision makers.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing forecasts, pricing strategies, margins, and profitability.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive execution across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
  • Self-motivated leader capable of managing multiple priorities while operating effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to travel as necessary throughout the United States.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with national or regional home builders, multifamily developers, buying groups, appliance distributors, or kitchen and bath networks.
  • Existing relationships within the builder, multifamily, or appliance Pro Channel are highly desirable.
  • Experience launching new products and developing go-to-market strategies within the professional trade channel.
  • Knowledge of premium and mass-market appliance categories and the competitive landscape.
