Job description

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Placement Support Executive to work closely with the Head of Placement and Regional Placement Directors. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our placement strategy while ensuring the smooth administration, coordination, and execution of insurance placements across the business.

In this role you will oversee the delivery of high-quality placement support services, identify process improvements, and contribute to the achievement of business objectives through effective placement support and proactive identification of opportunities that may exist.

A key focus will be on data management, analysis, and reporting, playing a vital role in ensuring data accuracy and integrity, generating meaningful insights, and providing valuable information to support decision-making across the platform.

What You'll Be Doing

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and improve analysis and data exchange across a number of key areas including insurer placement, support of our placement initiatives as well as our client retention and new business capabilities and pipelines

  • Handle reporting, insurance data changes and data questions from internal & external stakeholders, interrogating, transforming, modelling and visualising data from various sources to providing accurate and insightful MI to enable the platform to make well informed strategic decisions

  • Be able to identify and present changes and trends in client data received

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to help internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data across all solutions

  • Oversee the end-to-end placement support process, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

  • Support brokers and placement teams with market submissions, placement documentation, and insurer communications.

  • Monitor placement activity and identify areas for operational improvement.

  • Support relevant stakeholders with preparation and analysis of key information ahead of internal and external meetings

About You

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Significant experience within the insurance industry with a strong understanding of insurance operations and placement processes.

  • Proven experience using Acturis to analyse and review placement and broking activity.

· In-depth knowledge and experience of regulatory / legislative framework within the financial services market

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and management information for senior stakeholders.

· Experience of managing and influencing various stakeholders and adhering to agreed timelines.

  • Good understanding of the regulatory and legislative framework within financial services.
