About Us: Overview:

We’re looking for a Systems Specialist to play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our organization’s enterprise technology environment at our Home Office in Baltimore, MD!

As a Systems Specialist, you’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for the Yardi Senior Housing suite and other key business applications, providing advanced application support, system configuration, troubleshooting, and administration. You’ll work closely with users and cross-functional teams to identify solutions, resolve challenging issues, improve system functionality, and help ensure our technology continues to support the organization’s evolving needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the company’s end users; escalates issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution; monitors support activity to identify trends or emerging issues and recommend solutions and collaborates with other IT personnel to resolve user problems. Such problems and requests can include but are not limited to user account setup, system functionality, community configuration, resident handling, health record corrections, payment processing, reporting, and task automation.
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner.
  • Identify and follow best practices to maintain data integrity and security across all business systems.
  • Learn and understand business processes used within Yardi and other related business systems.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, knowledge base articles, and training materials to support software adoption and self-service support. Track all system issues and/or enhancements using Brightview’s Help Desk system. When necessary, escalate issues to appropriate internal or external resources.
  • Act as liaison with vendors to identify, research, and resolve system issues; follow up with vendor and/or appropriate Brightview personnel to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Configure and maintain system settings, security roles, workflows, and other application features in accordance with business requirements and established standards.
  • Provides support to business and IT teams during software initiatives by performing administrative functions such as system setup, user acceptance testing (UAT), training support, issue tracking, and post-implementation support.
  • Perform routine system audits, data validation, and maintenance activities to ensure application performance, data integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage incoming software vendor invoices and process them through Yardi.
  • Other Duties and projects as assigned.
Salary Range: USD $68,000.00 - USD $77,000.00 /Yr.

Compensation Disclosure:

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years’ experience with enterprise software administration and support.
  • Experience in Senior Living and/or Property Management, ERP applications, CRM applications, clinical software, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience managing a support desk for software-related incidents and requests.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency, properly prioritizing issues.
  • Moderate Excel skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Excellent communication skills via telephone, email, and in-person with the ability to connect and communication effectively with associates of all levels.
  • Desire and ability to provide exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to be onsite at communities, including some out of state travel, up to 10% of the time.
  • Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn.
