Job description

The Role:

The Principal Contract Specialist will draft, interpret, and negotiate contractual documents in support of the global sales and channel teams. The Principal Contract Specialist will make independent decisions within Company policy and procedures, make recommendations for potential resolution of contract issues, and assist other Contract Specialists and internal resources with specific contractual issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft contracts in a clear and concise manner to address customer contractual issues with minimal oversight.
  • Effectively and efficiently negotiate complex customer and partner contracts.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of the technology services offered and the relationship of the contract clauses to such services.
  • Identify, report, and escalate business issues to the applicable line of business.
  • Thoroughly investigate and provide timely written responses to termination requests and breach allegations.
  • Assist with special projects, as needed.
  • Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Company’s values.
  • Ensure you are aware of and abide by all relevant Company regulations and policies relevant to the role.
  • Follow Company / departmental policies and working practices, ensuring that no breaches of information security result from any actions.
  • Ensure data protection is maintained and information is made available on a need to know basis.
  • Play an active role in the prevention of unauthorised access and damage to information.
  • Report security weaknesses and incidents appropriately to relevant personnel, including the Security function in a timely manner.
  • Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
  • Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies.
  • Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires a minimum of seven (7) years of complex contract negotiation experience, preferably within the information technology services industry.
  • JD preferred; paralegal certificate or commensurate experience considered.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Prior customer service experience with direct interaction with and support of sales and channel is required.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in high paced environment.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong business orientation, team player.
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Salesforce
  • Must be legally eligible to work in your country of residence without visa sponsorship

Compensation and Benefits at 11:11 Systems

The base salary for this role ranges from $74,000 to $83,000. 
 
These ranges are informed by market data, internal equity, and qualifications required by job level. Actual pay is based on multiple factors, including skills, experience, certifications, and location. 
 
Individuals may also be eligible for variable incentives such as bonuses or sales commissions, which are also based on level and position within the organization. Additional company-sponsored benefits include, but are not limited to:
