Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst, Sales Effectiveness partners with Sales Leadership, Sales Effectiveness, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve seller productivity and business performance. The role translates business needs into scalable processes, system requirements, analytics, dashboards, and actionable insights while supporting CRM optimization, sales process improvement, performance measurement, and technology adoption.

Core Responsibilities:  

  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Sales Effectiveness, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver solutions that improve sales effectiveness and seller productivity
  • Serve as a strategic business analyst supporting sales effectiveness programs, sales technology, business processes, and performance initiatives
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and actionable system requirements
  • Analyze end-to-end sales processes to identify workflow inefficiencies, process gaps, system limitations, and opportunities to improve seller productivity
  • Develop and monitor sales performance measures related to sales execution, adoption, conversion, attainment, and customer engagement
  • Partner with the Commercial Operations data analytics team to build and maintain Salesforce/CRM reports and dashboards that provide actionable visibility into performance and sales activities
  • Analyze sales data to identify performance trends, productivity gaps, coaching opportunities, and areas where enablement interventions may improve outcomes
  • Partner with Sales Training and Education teams to measure the effectiveness of sales training, onboarding, playbooks, sales content, tools, and enablement programs
  • Develop measurement frameworks to evaluate enablement program adoption, engagement, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Support the design and optimization of sales processes, workflows, and technology solutions that simplify the seller experience and improve execution
  • Develop advanced Excel-based analytical models for sales performance analysis, forecasting, productivity measurement, scenario analysis, and strategic planning
  • Translate complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations for Sales Leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations to develop executive dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses that support performance management and strategic decision-making
  • Monitor CRM and sales technology adoption and identify opportunities to improve utilization, data quality, and user engagement
  • Identify automation, workflow, reporting, and technology enhancements that reduce administrative burden on sales teams

Experience, Education and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 + years of experience in business analysis, sales effectiveness, business systems, sales performance analytics, and process improvement
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and system requirements
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM reporting, dashboards, KPI development, data modeling, and performance analysis
  • Experience partnering with sales leaders, executive stakeholders, analytics teams, and cross-functional partners
  • Advanced Excel analytical and modeling skills
  • Proficiency with Tableau or comparable business intelligence and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of requirements gathering, business process analysis, gap analysis, and process mapping
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, executive communication, project management, change management, and strategic problem-solving skills

Ability to travel as required by role (up to 5% of the time).
