What You Can Expect

In this role, you will own Zoom's employee relations function end to end, from leading complex workplace investigations to building the manager enablement programs that prevent issues before they escalate. • Coach managers on performance documentation, difficult conversations, and accountability practices that prevent escalation and support employee development.

  • Design and deliver manager enablement programs on feedback, performance management, hiring practices, and compliance topics.

  • Analyze employee relations trends, exit data, and survey feedback to identify systemic issues and recommend data-driven interventions to leadership.

  • Deep knowledge of California employment law and multi-state US compliance requirements, with demonstrated ability to apply legal insight to risk assessment and organizational decision-making.

  • Proven track record of coaching managers through performance documentation, difficult conversations, and accountability processes, including providing real-time guidance during active performance situations.

  • Precision in documenting investigations, case resolutions, and performance actions with the detail and consistency required to withstand legal scrutiny.

  • Experience navigating difficult conversations with senior leaders and employees while remaining objective, grounded, and solution-focused.

  • Background building scalable employee relations processes, compliance training programs, and documentation systems in high-growth or evolving environments.
