Bobbie

Food & Beverage Manufacturing

Bobbie is the first and only mom-founded and women-led infant formula company in the U.S. Our European-style recipe meets all FDA requirements, is made with pasture-raised milk from Organic Valley farms, and is the only infant formula to receive both the Clean Label Project’s Purity Award and Pesticide Free Certification. Bobbie is working to shake the stigma and evolve the conversation around how you feed your baby to one of confidence, not comparison, from how we feed to what we feed. We lost sleep over this so you don't have to.

Job description

About Bobbie

Bobbie makes European-style organic infant formula manufactured end-to-end in the U.S., because we believe every parent deserves to feed their baby with confidence, without judgment and without compromise. No mystery ingredients. No shortcuts. Just clean, thoughtfully made formula that parents can trust.

But Bobbie has never been just a formula company. When the 2022 national infant formula shortage left parents across the country unable to feed their babies, we closed our storefront to new customers rather than leave a single existing family without formula. We went to Washington. We got loud. And we opened our Heath, Ohio manufacturing facility to make sure something like that could never happen again.

That's who we are, and that's what you'd be joining.

Bobbie for Change

Our advocacy arm, Bobbie for Change, exists because making great formula isn't enough if the systems around parenthood are still broken. We fight for paid federal parental leave, push for legislation to prevent future formula shortages, advocate for feeding equity, and support families navigating impossible situations, including donating formula to parents impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers through the Bobbie Breasties program.

We're a company that genuinely believes becoming a parent makes you an activist. The people who work here feel that too.

About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to join the core team responsible for Bobbie's end-to-end digital customer journey, reporting to our Director of Product Management, DTC Growth.

You'll own growth initiatives across the funnel—from landing pages and PDPs to cart, checkout, subscription, personalization, AI-powered experiences, and whatever comes next. You'll turn customer and business problems into hypotheses, experiments, and shipped experiences that make it easier for parents to discover, choose, and stay with Bobbie while driving measurable growth for the business.

We're looking for someone with range: a PM who loves getting close to the work, digging into customer behavior, partnering with Design and Engineering, and turning ideas into experiences that ship—but who also naturally looks beyond what's directly in front of them. You'll stay close to how customer expectations, technology, AI, commerce, and digital discovery are evolving and bring a point of view on what those shifts could mean for Bobbie.

This is an opportunity to help bring that vision to life while continuously uncovering ways to make the experience smarter, more personalized, and built to scale.

What You Will Do

  • Own growth initiatives across the customer journey. Lead projects across acquisition, education, consideration, purchase, and subscription—turning opportunities into experiences that improve the customer journey and drive measurable growth.
  • Run the experimentation engine. Take tests from hypothesis through execution: identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, partner with Data, Design and Engineering, launch experiments, analyze results, and turn learnings into what comes next.
  • Turn customer behavior into action. Use data, research, session recordings, and customer feedback to understand where there is friction and prioritize improvements across the funnel.
  • Look around corners. Stay ahead of shifts in DTC, subscription commerce, AI, personalization, and digital discovery—translating emerging customer behaviors and capabilities into ideas worth exploring for Bobbie.
  • Build for what's next. Think beyond the immediate solution, identifying how the experiences and capabilities we build today can help Bobbie's DTC and subscription business continue to scale and evolve.
  • Be a true cross-functional partner. Work fluidly across Growth, Platform, Engineering, Design, Brand, Creative, Lifecycle, Customer Care, Operations, Regulatory, and Data to move work from idea to impact.
  • Share the "so what." Clearly communicate performance, experiment results, customer insights, and recommendations—what we learned, what it means, and what we should do next.

How We'll Measure Success

You'll ultimately be measured by whether the experiences and products you build make Bobbie's digital customer journey better and grow the business. Core measures include:

  • Site Conversion Rate
  • Funnel progression and drop-off
  • Checkout Completion Rate
  • Average Order Value
  • Subscription conversion and churn
  • Experiment velocity, learning, and incremental impact

Just as importantly, success means we're continuously learning from what we build and using those insights to identify new opportunities for growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in product management, digital product, ecommerce, or similarly hands-on roles, with a track record of shipping experiences that drove meaningful customer and business outcomes.
  • Deep growth and experimentation experience. You understand ecommerce funnels and know how to turn customer problems into hypotheses, design thoughtful experiments, measure impact, and apply the learnings to what comes next.
  • Strong analytical instincts. You're comfortable digging into CVR, AOV, funnel progression, checkout and subscription performance using tools like Google Analytics, Fullstory, or similar—and your instinct is to keep digging until you understand the "why."
  • Strong product and customer judgment. You start with the customer, think in problems rather than features, and know when something needs more research, when it should be tested, and when we should simply build it and move.
  • Technical and design fluency. You can work closely with Engineering and Design, understand constraints and tradeoffs, participate meaningfully in solution design, and get into the details when the work calls for it. Familiarity with tools like Figma, and Asana is a plus.
  • Curiosity about what's next. You actively explore how AI, emerging technology, personalization, subscription commerce, SEO/AEO, and changing customer behaviors could create new opportunities—and can separate meaningful shifts from shiny objects.
  • Exceptional cross-functional partnership. You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and can move fluidly across Engineering, Design, Data, Brand, Creative, Lifecycle, Customer Care, and Marketing to move work forward.
  • Comfort operating with speed and ambiguity. You're proactive, low-ego, and comfortable creating structure where it doesn't yet exist. You can move with urgency, stay close to the details, and still make space to think beyond what's directly in front of you.

Bonus: Experience in CPG, subscription commerce, regulated categories, Shopify, or Recharge.
