Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Revenue Manager consults hotels in managing the room inventory and pricing of assigned hotels to increase revenue. They use Choice’s tools and procedures to create and implement effective strategies for selling rooms based on market demand and competition. They need to have skills in revenue management, ecommerce, sales, marketing, and distribution, and be able to make strategic and tactical decisions. They also need to have strong knowledge and skills to persuade and influence key decision makers. They handle a larger and more complex portfolio of hotels and offerings and help develop and improve the ChoiceRM program.

Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and optimize guest room inventory and pricing strategies for assigned hotels, driving RevPAR growth through smart demand analysis, dynamic selling strategies, length of stay optimization, and strong channel parity.

  • Partner closely with hotel teams to deliver actionable insights through daily, weekly, and monthly revenue management reporting, while staying ahead of demand drivers such as groups, conventions, and citywide events.

  • Lead engaging Revenue Strategy Meetings, translating performance data, market trends, and competitive intelligence into clear, impactful recommendations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key liaison between hotels and Choice teams, leveraging advanced enterprise systems, Salesforce, and Lanyon to align strategies with brand goals and unlock new marketing and promotional opportunities.

  • Contribute to high-visibility special projects and enterprise-wide revenue management initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally to shape and elevate Choice’s revenue strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Revenue Manager, or Business or Consulting experience focused on financial analysis or revenue analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of Revenue Management principles and philosophies, tools, and reports, as well as industry standard metrics and related reports.

  • Experience with multi-property revenue management a plus.

  • Experience with Extended Stay revenue management a plus.

  • Knowledge of Choice Internet sites, Property Management Systems, Choice distribution platforms and strategies, GDS systems a plus.

  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft office applications with high degree of demonstrated proficiency in Excel.

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, extract actionable insights, and convert to strategic revenue opportunities.

  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to understand and solve complex problems and use data as the basis for making recommendations. 

  • Ability to articulate revenue strategies and deployment to achieve strategies. Presents ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good listener with strong observation skills.

  • Ability to influence decision-makers at all levels; able to convince others to act through presentation of analysis and information.

  • Ability to make measurable progress on multiple high priorities while also handling day-to-day operations.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

  • Revenue Management Certification (CHRM or CRME) is required of all Choice Revenue Management team members. Candidates who are not already certified will need to become certified within the first year of employment. 

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $ 86,886 - 102,219. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for Revenue Management Incentive Plan.
