Work Location:

• The physical location for this position is at any jobsite, which could be in any state. The ability to travel and adapt to different job sites is essential. Job sites may vary based on project requirements, and Drill Tenders must be prepared to work in various geographical locations and conditions.

Role: Drill Tenders assist the operator of the drill rig during the installation of our patented DeWaal Pile system. Responsibilities include:

• Positioning the DeWaal tool and attaching the sacrificial endplate
• Rigging reinforcing steel and flagging
• Troubleshooting and maintaining the DeWaal tool
• Operating an acetylene-cutting torch, grinder, and motorized equipment
• Assisting in the assembly, rigging, and disassembly of equipment
• Fueling and greasing equipment
• Working at considerable heights above the ground (with 100% fall protection measures in place)
• Performing other job duties as assigned

This role requires individuals with knowledge of DeWaal Pile installation procedures, good balance, stamina, and physical strength. The job demands frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, carrying, and bending. The work environment is exclusively outdoors, exposing workers to all weather extremes and varied ground conditions.

Position Requirements:

• Frequently lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
• Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
• Frequent use of an acetylene torch, grinder, shovel, hammer, etc.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of drill rig construction experience
• Positive references from previous employers

• Steel-toed work boots

• Suitable work pants with no holes
• 25-foot tape measure
• Striker
• 12-inch adjustable wrench
• Torch tip cleaner
