Job description

Greenstone Equity Partners are looking for a Investor Relations professional at AVP/VP level to join our Singapore coverage team.

Working closely with the Head of Singapore and the Singapore team , this is a front-office fund placement role focused on raising capital for global private market fund managers across Singapore’s institutional and private wealth investor ecosystem. The successful candidate will contribute directly to fundraising execution, investor coverage and the continued development of Greenstone’s presence in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Placement & Fundraising

  • Work alongside the Head of Singapore and team to place and distribute global private market funds across the Singapore market.
  • Execute fundraising campaigns across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets and other alternative investment strategies.
  • Identify suitable Singapore-based investors and match them with relevant fund opportunities.
  • Deliver fund pitches and clearly articulate each manager’s strategy, track record, portfolio construction and competitive positioning.
  • Participate in investor meetings, roadshows and fund manager visits across Singapore.
  • Manage the fundraising process from initial investor targeting and outreach through pitching, follow-up, due diligence and commitment.
  • Support investors through DDQ, operational due diligence and investment committee processes, helping to facilitate subscription execution.
  • Develop fundraising strategies with fund managers, the Head of Singapore and Greenstone’s wider regional team.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and investor information within the CRM and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Investor Coverage & Market Intelligence

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Singapore-based investors, including sovereign wealth funds, government-linked entities, pensions, insurers, private banks, EAMs, multi-family offices, family offices, asset managers and corporates.
  • Expand Greenstone’s existing network by originating new investor relationships and identifying relevant decision-makers.
  • Build a detailed understanding of investors’ allocation priorities, preferred strategies, ticket sizes, decision-making processes and upcoming deployment plans.
  • Provide clear market intelligence and investor feedback to fund managers and internal stakeholders.

Product Fit & Market Feedback

  • Assess the relevance of prospective mandates for Singapore investors and provide product-fit feedback to Greenstone’s mandate-sourcing team.
  • Contribute to market studies, investor mapping and demand analysis across private market strategies.
  • Identify emerging themes and areas of investor demand within Singapore’s institutional and private wealth markets.

Compliance

  • Conduct all fundraising activity in accordance with applicable Singapore private placement requirements and Greenstone’s internal compliance procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation standards and complete all required regulatory and internal training.

The Right Candidate

Essential

  • Demonstrable fund placement or private-markets capital-raising experience, with hands-on responsibility for investor targeting, pitching, meetings, pipeline management, due diligence and securing commitments.
  • Experience covering Singapore-based investors, ideally across institutional, sovereign, private bank, EAM or family-office channels.
  • Existing knowledge of Singapore’s allocator landscape, including relevant organisations, decision-makers and investment processes.
  • Experience working in fund placement, investor relations, institutional sales, private-markets distribution or capital formation.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess investor-product fit.
  • Excellent written and verbal English; additional Asian language capabilities would be advantageous.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation and pipeline-management skills.
  • A collaborative and self-starting approach, with the ability to work closely with the Head of Singapore and colleagues across Greenstone’s wider international platform.

Preferred

  • Experience distributing private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, venture capital or other alternative investment strategies.
  • Exposure to both the fund manager and allocator sides of the private-markets industry.
  • Experience supporting investors through detailed due diligence and investment committee processes.
  • Strong analytical capability and the ability to explain complex investment strategies clearly and commercially.
