DWH Engineer

About the role The role focuses on gathering, analyzing and aligning business and technical requirements, with a strong emphasis on working with data, databases and SQL. You will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to understand complex requirements and contribute to effective, solution-oriented outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze and document business and technical requirements

Work closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify their needs

Align conflicting requirements and facilitate consensus between stakeholders

Analyze databases, data structures and data-related processes

Use SQL to query and analyze data

Analyze complex topics and requirements within the DWH environment

Collaborate closely with business and technical teams

Participate in agile projects and working processes

Quickly understand new and complex business topics

Proactively contribute to solution development and process improvements

Requirements

Relevant experience in Requirements Engineering / Business Analysis

Solid knowledge of databases

Good SQL skills

Strong affinity for working with data and data-driven topics

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently

Ability to quickly understand new and complex subject areas

Experience working in agile environments

Strong communication skills across both business and technical stakeholders

Excellent facilitation and consensus-building skills

Proactive, self-driven and hands-on approach

Strong team orientation and collaborative mindset

Fluent English language skills

Nice to Have

Experience in the banking or financial services sector

Previous experience in a DWH environment

German language skills

Experience working on data-intensive projects
