Job Description

The Services AI Portfolio and Governance Leader provides strategic oversight and program management across the full portfolio of AI initiatives within Gas Power Services. This role bridges strategy and execution—owning the centralized intake process, measuring value realization and ROI, establishing AI governance standards within Gas Power Services, and ensuring consistent program execution frameworks are in place. Partnering with GenAI Process Managers, IT/Digital Transformation (DT), and business stakeholders, this leader drives cross-portfolio visibility, eliminates duplication, documents standard work, and enables organizational transformation through training, upskilling, and content development. This individual will serve as the connective tissue across the Services AI program—ensuring initiatives are prioritized, governed, measured, and delivering measurable business impact at scale.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • AI Portfolio & Program Management: Provide cross-portfolio visibility across all Services AI initiatives; manage the AI initiative pipeline, track milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines; own program-level status reporting and executive dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Intake Process & Demand Management: Own and operate the centralized intake process for new AI use cases and requests; evaluate, prioritize, and route incoming ideas; identify duplicate submissions and opportunities to merge or consolidate efforts across the portfolio to maximize impact and reduce redundancy.
  • Value Realization & ROI Measurement: Define and track adoption metrics, AI token spend versus business value delivered, and cost-benefit analysis per initiative; build and maintain portfolio health and ROI dashboards; present value realization insights to leadership and drive corrective actions when benefits lag.
  • AI Governance & Standards: Serve as the AI Governance lead for Services AI; establish and enforce standards for responsible AI usage, data handling, model management, and solution lifecycle governance across all initiatives; partner with DT and enterprise governance stakeholders to ensure compliance with GEV AI policies.
  • Standard Work & Process Documentation: Document and maintain standard operating procedures, playbooks, and repeatable frameworks for AI solution delivery, change management, and program execution; ensure the team operates from a consistent, documented methodology that scales across initiatives.
  • Discovery & AI Transformation Management: Lead discovery and ideation processes to identify high-value AI transformation opportunities across the business; facilitate design thinking sessions and structured assessments with business stakeholders to build and maintain a prioritized transformation roadmap.
  • Training, Upskilling & Content Development: Partner with GenAI Process Managers and subject matter experts to create training content, enablement materials, and upskilling programs that build AI literacy and practical capability across the Gas Power Services organization; coordinate content calendars and delivery cadences.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 6+ years of experience in program/portfolio management, digital transformation, or operational leadership in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience defining and tracking portfolio-level KPIs, adoption metrics, and ROI measurement
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks, standards, or compliance programs

Desired Characteristics:

  • English proficiency required
  • Past experience with Python or GenAI techniques and tools
  • Experience in Services, Field Services, Supply Chain, or industrial operations environments
  • Experience with Field Service outage planning processes—familiar with resource, tooling, sourcing, training processes
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Past experience as Service Manager, Outage Manager, or CPM
  • Knowledge of Services products, processes, customer requirements, and budgeting/financial processes
  • Strong systems experience across Services domain
  • Experience building and managing intake processes, portfolio dashboards, or PMO functions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
  • Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification or equivalent quality certification

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
