Uses analytics, user experience (UX) principles, content strategy, search optimization, and digital governance practices to improve discoverability, engagement, and performance.

Serves as the primary strategist for blogs and a growing microsite portfolio, including the development and management of a new microsite program. Establishes and maintains program standards—including templates, tiering frameworks, distributed authorship models, and service level agreements—while providing strategic consultation, planning, optimization, and governance throughout the digital property lifecycle. Supports enterprise growth initiatives, partnerships, and innovation efforts by defining digital requirements and user experiences that align with organizational, brand, accessibility, and governance standards.

Requires strong conceptual and working knowledge developed through direct relevant experience to perform a range of assignments within a job discipline. Applies prior experience to accomplish difficult tasks. Works independently, with a moderate level of guidance and general supervision.

Exercise sound judgment, critical thinking and communication skills to balance clients goals, digital best practices and established governance principals. Determine and execute reporting needs to monitor performance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meet the needs of the client. Show flexibility and adaptability in client interactions, changing approach or method of communication to best match clients interest, availability, goals and technical knowledge. Effectively translate technical or complex concepts into laymans language that matches your clients knowledge or engagement level.

  • Proactive Content and UX Strategy Enhancements - Utilize analytics data, user experience (UX) best practices and content strategy and information architecture principles to identify performance and content goals for each assigned client and CCHMC digital properties as a whole. Monitor and measure the performance to goals and proactively identify enhancements to achieve these goals. Independently create a schedule to support the ongoing needs of each assigned client and digital property and maintain measurement and monitoring of KPIs. Ensure all assigned digital properties are maintaining accurate and optimized information that is organized and aligned to user needs.

  • Search Engine Optimization Consultation and Execution - In support of assigned clients and digital properties, use tools and experience to plan and execute search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and tactics, cross linking efforts and link analysis across digital properties and channels. Use SEO ideas to support strategic improvements, measure results and adjust content in coordination with colleagues or clients. Conduct analysis of SEO and SERP to monitor site health and make recommendations and execute internal and external linking, site content optimization, meta information, etc. Help drive SEO strategy to maximize traffic and performance, including optimization for AI-powered search and content discovery experiences. Conduct link analysis including identifying opportunities and executing improvements such as fixing broken links, redirects, and cross linking.

  • Digital Strategy Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Committed to participating in and often leading team discussions about new and changing digital strategy best practices, including user experience, content architecture, AI search optimization, and digital governance. Contribute to existing governance methods and identify and document new governance and sustainability needs.

  • Audience Channel / Digital Property Management - Act as the primary point contact for audience channel or digital property, including blogs, microsites, and strategic initiative websites. Possess an understanding of the user, their needs, motivations and preferences in order to effectively direct the content development and enhancements. Be a resource for department colleagues by sharing your knowledge of your audience or digital property and working to better integrate content across channels.
