About the role

Join a dynamic group of insurance regulatory consultants with a mission of protecting consumers as it relates to healthcare access and services. This role is remote, but everything our team does is connected. The Project Coordinator/Project Manager will be the primary resource for project coordination & administrative management for Market Conduct (ACA/QPA/NSA) project. These projects are detailed and focused on compliance with the Public Service Health Act, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), Market reforms, and other Federal and State statutes. Our work is conducted on behalf of Federal and State regulatory authorities.

What you'll do

  • Assist in setting up Market Conduct Examinations for ACA and NSA as well as QPA Audits with Directors, Assistant Directors and Senior Managers. Assist in the building and maintenance of projects in Monday.com.
  • Assist in setting up examination and audit documentation, SOP’s, Smartsheet and Reference Documents.
  • Assist in creating, documenting and implementing workflows for all teams.
  • Monitor and document influx of work assignments and related information to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and consistency in direct quality control of deliverables.
  • Perform First Quality and Inventory Check of all production for all projects.
  • Oversee recommendations for internal process improvements across all projects.
  • Track project timelines and deliverables in accordance with specifications provided by clients.
  • Schedule, take minutes and document action steps for internal and external calls and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat PDF
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a remote environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and self-motivated
  • MCM designation issued by Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES), or ability to obtain designation within 90 days of initial engagement
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Project Coordinator, market conduct examiner, insurance project or program specialist, or other related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Monday.com
  • Knowledge of Health Market Conduct Examinations and Projects
  • Knowledge of workflow design and process improvements
