International Product Manager

The Opportunity:
The International Product Manager, Sequencing Sample Preparation, is responsible for driving the global strategy for the sample prep solutions, specifically RNA-Seq portfolio, and for delivering on its execution.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The key accountabilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Acts as a facilitator and integrator across all stakeholders in order to ensure that the library prep solutions are developed and commercially available in scope, time and budget.
Working with the sequencing global business team, drives the systematic commercial development of the Roche RNA sample prep products from concept to launch, on-market support and obsolescence
Provides on-market product support and provides guidance to the affiliates
Collaborates with other commercial colleagues to execute on global commercialization strategy incl. clear positioning, messaging, value proposition, training, marketing materials, among other deliverables as product SME
Gathers, refines, analyses and prioritizes customer requirements from existing and potential customers across all markets and identifies portfolio gaps. Generates resulting product requirements and an aligned multi-year product roadmap.
Leads, manages and monitors product-specific competitor activities and development of actions to address them
Leads strong team spirit and motivates team members across the system team and related teams towards shared goals
Who you are:
University Degree in Marketing, Science or related technical discipline
Preferably brings 8+ years of marketing/sales experience in the life sciences, diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with sequencing products, specifically RNA-Seq library prep, will be a huge plus
Strong preference for candidates who have broad experience in NGS space and have undergone multiple cycles of product iteration or new product development
Brings excellent leadership & communication skills, ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams within a complex global matrix environment
Location: Remote – United States (Preferred) or South Africa.
Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pleasanton, CA is $155,400- $288,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
