Role Overview 

The Scheduler, Project Controls is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules across Colovore's data center development portfolio. Working closely with Development, Design, Construction, Procurement, and external partners, this role ensures accurate schedule forecasting, identifies risks to project milestones, and provides actionable reporting to support informed decision-making. 

This position plays a key role in establishing scheduling standards and improving project controls processes as Colovore continues to scale. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed integrated project schedules for multiple data center development projects.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to collect schedule updates and validate project progress.  
  • Analyze schedule performance, identify critical path activities, and communicate schedule risks and mitigation strategies.  
  • Produce schedule reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates highlighting project status, milestones, and forecasted completion dates.  
  • Evaluate schedule impacts resulting from design changes, procurement delays, permitting activities, or construction issues.  
  • Support project planning, sequencing, and resource forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.  
  • Ensure schedules align with project budgets, key milestones, and contractual obligations.  
  • Participate in project review meetings and provide schedule analysis to support strategic decision-making.  
  • Develop and maintain scheduling standards, templates, and best practices across the Project Controls function.  
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to project controls, reporting, and project delivery. 

Required Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  
  • 5+ years of scheduling or project controls experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.  
  • Experience developing and managing detailed project schedules for industrial construction projects using Primavera P6.  
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles.  
  • Experience coordinating schedules across multiple stakeholders and project teams.  
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools. 
  • Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) and project controls methodologies.  

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience supporting mission-critical facilities or data centers.  
  • Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar tools.  
  • PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, or other project controls certifications.
