Dollar Shave Club

Personal Care Products / Cosmetics

In 2011, we didn't just disrupt the entire shaving industry; we revolutionized it, shattering conventions with a viral video sensation that became the gold standard for humor in advertising. Our trailblazing direct-to-consumer model didn’t just pave new paths—it bulldozed age old industry giants, minting us as a force to be reckoned with. Dollar Shave Club crafted not just products, but experiences. We made shaving not suck by cutting out all the unnecessary BS that's been upsold to guys for decades. We continued to make great f**king blades and also became the geniuses behind tons of dude-centric products like Ball Spray, offering solutions to problems men didn't know they needed. Today we continue to expand our international grooming arsenal, and hold fast to the disruptive DNA and irreverent humor that catapulted us to fame. Our global expansion and presence in tens of thousands of retail stores are testaments to our commitment to make the hairy globe a little smoother. Stop wasting time not working for us and come join the club! https://us.dollarshaveclub.com/ DollarShaveClub.com/Content Facebook.com/DollarShaveClub Twitter.com/DollarShaveClub Instagram.com/DollarShaveClub

Job description

ABOUT DSC:

In 2011, Dollar Shave Club didn’t just shake up the shaving aisle—we reinvented it. A viral video put us on the map, and our direct-to-consumer model challenged an entire industry by making great razors accessible, affordable, and actually fun to buy.

Since then, we’ve grown far beyond blades. From grooming to personal care, we’ve built a lineup of quality essentials designed to make life easier (and smoother), whether you find us online or in stores near you.

Today, DSC is expanding into new categories and new markets, but our DNA hasn’t changed. We’re still here to cut the BS, deliver real value, and bring a little humor to the everyday routine.

So what are you waiting for? Join the Club.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Lead Demand Planner owns end-to-end demand forecasting for all items and categories across Dollar Shave Club, including the newly acquired Truly Beauty business. This role leads and facilitates all Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, builds best-in-class forecasting methodologies and ways of working as Truly Beauty is integrated onto DSC’s planning systems, and maintains communication and decision-making relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from cross-functional partners through executive leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own end-to-end demand forecasting for all items and categories across DSC and Truly Beauty, including item-level forecast development, consolidation, and consensus building with cross-functional partners, to deliver against industry-standard KPIs (MAPE, Bias) and improve forecast accuracy, fill rates, and in-stock targets.
  • Own and lead all Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings end to end — scheduling, preparing inputs, facilitating discussion, and driving decisions — partnering with Brand Management, Brand Marketing, Finance, Acquisition, and Digital Product to build consensus across the business. Continuously evolve S&OP reporting and analytics (e.g., forecast accuracy tracking, variance analysis, promotional visibility) to improve transparency and decision-making.
  • Build and implement best-in-class forecasting methodologies and ways of working for the Truly Beauty business as it transitions off manual, Excel-based planning and onto DSC’s planning tools and processes.
  • Serve as the primary demand planning point of contact across the organization, maintaining communication and decision-making relationships with stakeholders at all levels — from cross-functional partners and Supply Planning through executive and board-level leadership.
  • Own demand planning KPI reporting (MAPE, Bias) and drive continuous improvement of forecasting and S&OP processes, including automation of forecast consolidation, scenario planning, and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of direct Demand Planning or related Supply Planning/CPFR/Operations experience
  • Experience working in the Supply Chain industry.
  • Direct experience in demand planning, forecast consolidation, leading S&OP processes, and driving planning system transitions or implementations.
  • Experience forecasting a multi-brand/multi-category portfolio; exposure to onboarding an acquired business’s planning function preferred.
  • Demand planning systems (e.g., Stock IQ, NetSuite, or comparable ERP), experience with planning system implementations/migrations, advanced Microsoft Excel, S&OP leadership.
  • Statistical forecasting tools; experience integrating systems/processes across an acquired business.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages and drive decisions with stakeholders at all levels, including executive and board-level leadership; highly collaborative; strong analytical and organizational skills.
