SUMMARY:
The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for selling Hachette Book Group and Client publisher titles to a regional sales territory comprised of predominantly independent bookstores in the southeastern US.
The role of the Hachette Book Group Field sales representative is crucial to our success in the Field Sales Channel. The Sales Rep maintains the primary relationship with our independent bookstore accounts. Our goal is to have each rep become their accounts’ point of contact for all things Hachette, forging relationships based on trust, open and timely communication, and a strong knowledge of our lists and processes.
Location: This role will be based in the southeastern states and report to the Field Sales Director.

The compensation range for this position is $62,000-$72,000. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
