Job description

Who we are

We are a global wealth-tech company powering the next generation of trading. We deliver cutting-edge centralised trading solutions and robust B2B financial infrastructure. Our proprietary trading platform offers clients seamless access to stocks, ETFs, bonds, futures, options, swaps, funds, and currency pairs- all within a single, multi-currency account.

We believe in the boundless flow of capital and information. Whilst developing EXANTE, we saw technology as a means to improve global connectivity of the financial services industry. Over the years, we have earned a reputation for providing superior service and for getting the results our clients and customers want.

Most importantly, people have come to know us for our technological insights and focus on privacy. Our inspiration stems from the talent and ambition of our clients. We are offering an ecosystem of financial products and services that would provide the most tailored assistance to traders.

Our culture

Everything at EXANTE starts with our people. We bring together almost 800 minds across 70 locations. We place trust in our team with real autonomy - the freedom to drive change across products, processes and everything in between. That trust fuels innovation, and the demands of the markets build resilience; we adapt, push forward, and we look after each other while we do it.

That freedom is matched by real investment in growth: we back our people with ongoing learning, hands-on development and the kind of stretch opportunities that turn good careers into great ones.

The Role Purpose

We're looking for a Regulatory Reporting Officer to join our Regulatory Reporting team within Business Operations. This is a hands-on, mid-level role at the heart of how EXANTE meets its transaction- and position-reporting obligations across multiple EU/UK entities — EMIR, MiFIR, LTR, position reporting, and other regulatory reports.

Reporting Line

Head of Reconciliations and Regulatory Reporting

What you’ll do

  • Own the design and control of our reporting pipelines: define how each report should be built, oversee the scripts that generate them, and make sure the output goes out complete, accurate, and on time — you control the process, you don't key in reports by hand.
  • Investigate and clear validation errors and rejections from trade repositories (TRs), Approved Reporting Mechanisms (ARMs) and venues; drive them to root-cause resolution.
  • Own report quality end to end: field-level accuracy (UTI/UPI, LEIs, CFI, notional, clearing and collateral fields, counterparty and position data), completeness, and timeliness against the relevant RTS/ITS and ESMA/FCA guidance.
  • Run delegated reporting for clients: onboard clients to our delegated-reporting service, produce and reconcile reports on their behalf, and be their point of contact for reporting questions and issues.
  • Support clients on their own reporting: answer queries, investigate discrepancies they raise, and provide the data and explanations they need.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into system changes: raise, specify, and test development tickets with our IT team, and verify fixes in the reports.
  • Support audits, health-checks, and regulator queries — pulling samples, explaining our reporting logic, and helping prepare responses.
  • Keep our knowledge current: track regulatory changes and validation-rule releases, and help keep our procedures and controls documented and up to date.

What you’ll bring

  • A solid understanding of how brokers and financial markets work — instruments (listed and OTC derivatives, cash products), the trade lifecycle (execution → clearing → settlement), counterparties, venues, and CCPs. This is the core of the role: if you understand how a trade actually works, the reporting follows.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience at a broker, bank, investment firm, or reporting/consulting provider — ideally in a reporting, operations, middle-office, or data-heavy role.
  • A control mindset: you think in terms of processes, checks, and root causes — comfortable owning a system's output without being the one manually producing it.
  • Comfort with data: confident working with large datasets and spreadsheets, and happy to dig through records to chase down a discrepancy.
  • A problem-solver's instinct: you enjoy taking a cryptic rejection code and working it back to the field, the record, and the fix.
  • Precision and ownership: comfortable working to hard regulatory deadlines with a high bar for accuracy.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with EMIR and/or MiFIR reporting in production.
  • Knowledge of the relevant RTS/ITS and ESMA/FCA validation rules and reportable fields.
  • Experience with a specific TR/ARM (e.g. UnaVista or equivalent).
  • Exposure to delegated reporting.
  • Familiarity with ISO 20022 report schemas (auth.030/auth.016).
  • Additional foreign language(s).

What we offer

  • Competitive salary that reflects your experience and the value you bring.
  • Flexibility that fits your life — work from home, from our office, or a mix of both. You decide what works best.
  • Flexible benefits package — choose the options that suit your life, not a one-size-fits-all bundle.
  • A genuinely good place to work — an informal, collaborative culture where ideas are heard and bureaucracy stays out of your way.
  • Continuous learning — ongoing training, education programs, and the support to deepen your expertise in a fast-moving industry.
  • Connection beyond your desk — events that bring our teams together to network and celebrate.
