Job overview

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our Marketing team and support the execution and optimization of SEO initiatives for local businesses.

This is an opportunity for a professional with at least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience who understands technical and on-page SEO fundamentals and is ready to take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to SEO strategy and performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a marketing agency environment, working with local businesses, analyzing SEO data, identifying opportunities, and supporting website optimization initiatives. This role requires someone who is self-disciplined, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical SEO audits and implementation follow-ups.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot crawling, indexing, and on-page SEO issues.
  • Assist with internal linking, redirects, metadata, and site structure improvements.
  • Support keyword research, content optimization, and content refresh initiatives.
  • Monitor organic performance and identify SEO opportunities.
  • Support SEO QA for website and content changes.
  • Analyze SEO data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Take ownership of assigned SEO tasks and follow through to completion.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency environment, preferably supporting local businesses.
  • Experience with local SEO and website optimization.
  • Strong understanding of SEO terminology, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience with SEO data analysis and segmentation.
  • Ability to contribute to SEO strategy and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working remotely and maintaining productivity with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Google Search Console experience is required.
  • Experience with other SEO and analytics tools is a plus.

  • $2,000 monthly salary, paid through Deel.
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.
  • 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET working hours.
