This role requires strong communications and marketing acumen, excellent writing and content development skills, and the ability to independently plan, prioritize, and advance multiple projects simultaneously.

Working closely with the CaFÉ and ZAPP teams, this position develops a sufficient understanding of the products, audiences, and business goals to produce clear, accurate, and engaging communications and provide informed strategies. This role is expected to generate ideas, evaluate performance, and identify audience needs to improve marketing and communications over time.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns that support CaFÉ and ZAPP’s business goals, including customer engagement, awareness, adoption, retention, and revenue generation; evaluate results and recommend changes based on performance, audience needs, and business priorities.
  • Manage CaFÉ’s e-blast program, including strategy, promotion, advertiser relationships, execution, and performance against revenue goals.
  • Plan and manage paid digital and social media campaigns, including audience targeting, creative direction, and performance evaluation.

Communications Strategy and Content

  • Develop communications strategies and plans for product launches, system changes, customer initiatives, operational updates, and other CaFÉ and ZAPP business needs.
  • Build and maintain sufficient knowledge of CaFÉ and ZAPP functionality, audiences, and business needs to communicate accurately and effectively.
  • Write, edit, produce, and manage customer-facing content across channels, including websites, blogs, newsletters, product announcements, help content, sales materials, and social media, while maintaining clear messaging, a consistent brand voice, and strong editorial standards.
  • Lead webinars and virtual events that serve a marketing, promotional, or audience-engagement purpose, and support product-led educational webinars through promotion, audience communications, and development of related marketing and visual materials.
  • Identify and bring forward new content, storytelling, and audience engagement ideas.

Portfolio and Project Management

  • Manage a portfolio of diverse marketing and communications work across CaFÉ and ZAPP, including recurring communications, campaigns, product communications, social content, and other projects.
  • Maintain the CaFÉ and ZAPP marketing and communications calendar and plan work that accounts for deadlines, audience needs, competing messages, review periods, and business priorities.
  • Develop realistic project plans, identify required inputs and approvals, coordinate contributors and reviewers, and follow through on work to completion.
  • Manage competing priorities and changing needs, identify risks or capacity conflicts early, and recommend adjustments before deadlines or commitments are affected.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Representation

  • Translate subject-matter input from product and business teams into clear, cohesive communications and marketing approaches.
  • Contribute marketing and communications expertise to cross-functional projects involving CaFÉ and ZAPP, and collaborate with Creative West’s marketing and communications team on brand alignment, organizational storytelling, and shared campaigns.
